I had to go to Google to check if my guess was spelled correctly as in spelling of name. When I found the person I was thinking of, they weren't in the database. Anyhow. I wasn't getting this one no matter ha.

When you said the jersey was going to give it away I immediately thought of someone from the first clue. When wrong, I was like it must be the other fella with that nationality. Nope. Struggle street from there & then when the year mentioned later on paired with that jersey in my mind I doubled down on my first answer

Same. I'd be interested to hear how those who get the answer knew who it was. Not whinging.
I was going to ask how everyone is approaching this game as well. You could have spelt out all but one letter of the last one & I still wouldn’t have picked it. However I got it after ages & lots of clues with the assistance of the rugby league project site.
My approach has been to go through the clues until one triggers some ideas & I either then put my guess in - the Held clue was pretty obvious in game 2; or I check against some stats on the internet - game 3 3rd clue about playing in the debut season of 2 clubs I firstly thought of Whetu Taewa so checked his details, & then Willie Poching which I saw straight away matched up on the 100% win record at 2 clubs… no idea why but those two are the players I always first associate with early Warriors signings. Anyway if no one else is using web assistance then happy to change my approach.

You are free to use web assistance, thats perfectly fine. RLProject, wikipedia can be useful in some cases.
Do ppl want easier or hard difficulty? Im purposely making it hard as a way of getting people to research or find new tidbits about players they may have not known. Happy to change that approach or make it a mixture.

I used up all the clues and based off that I thought this round was meant to be a practical joke.
So I didn't try to guess in the end, assuming we had all been trolled for lols. I gave up day one and walked away from it....
Only after reading comments in here just now did I realise that had I used google for clues that I thought were joking.....

Do what makes you happy tajjay? Your game so you should enjoy it too. We will enjoy whatever you throw at us - but if I had to give input mix it up. Half very hard - and some average ones so we get some wins as well.
Who was the previous person - I ran out of guesses and didn't know at that stage how to get it to reveal.

Happy with a mix of difficult & reasonably difficult, a test of knowledge, however that last one in my opinion was maybe a step (or 10) too far.
Start us on easy mode and work into it
I’m waiting for Price and SJ to come up so I have a chance first guess
My approach is to not use any outside help and to not submit a guess until I'm reasonably sure it is right (though I got guesses wrong on this one). I like the challenge of drawing on my own knowledge.

Yeah same. The clues gave me no help as I was on the red herring trail. I went out to Google who I thought it was and couldn't remember their name anyway.
