At half time Holbrook was worried about the officiating.

They got a lot of six agains and we got a lot of penalties. So, it depends on what frustrates you more.

Glad we have a team that looks fit and seems to roll with the calls. Takes the six agains against us and gets into the grind.

What is insane is that we actually deserve to be 1st on the latter. For all the concerns about our attack last year and people bitching about how we don't deserve to be in the top 4 due to our p/d. We are 1st in attack! We've scored 120 pts, Storm have scored 112 with Penrith all the way back at 92. In defense, we have conceded 36 pts or 12 pts on average which equal to the Dogs.

The two debuts.

A shame seeing Gannon go off. He finally got an opportunity but only lasted 10 minutes due to the HIA.

Hanson set up a try, did well on defence, and got that late try.

We have talked a lot about being a development club. Cool seeing these guys bide their time in NSW Cup and then take their opportunity. Also don't look out of place.

So er. You wanna talk about Metcalf vs Tannah or what??

Tannah 7
Metcalf 6

Done

If only it were that simple.

Does Lukey WANT to be a 6?
Who's the dominant half?
Who's play style responds better with the team?
What about other established pairings? I'd argue LH looked pretty damned good, for a first timer AND he's had a reserve grade season with the Boydsiah.

Problem is, we're doing TOO well, so my 'don't change a winning team' instinct is kicking in. But, we're talking about a Dally M calibre halfback here.

FUCK.

I'm glad we don't have to make the decision.

That was a game in the past we could have slipped up on. Nearly did last year when they barely could get a team together due to the gastro bug.

In the past we could have struggled and lost and the headlines would have been all about their stars being out. Even though we had quite a few changes ourselves.

Instead we went about our game. Ground them out. Also played football when the opporutnity arose.

We’re basically playing with the equivalent of a depleted origin period team and putting on around 40 points per game.

Great to see Barney and Marata coming back with venom. Marata literally created the first try lol. We get CHT and CNK back next week too.

Egan’s pretty key rn I don’t think Healey offers anything close to the fluency in attack, might consider CHT/TMM when fit as the starting hooker if Egan is injured

That last try had me laughing. Had to call my boy in to show him the replay.

Those are the type of crazy tries we'd often pull off. That Frizzell kick also something some Warriors past may have done as well.

I know the pass could have gone bad if he hit the pads for example. But also good to see Hanson was there supporting.

I was so disappointed when they took the 2 and couldn’t crack them at the end for thr top spot, then they did a Chanel 2022 kick to us…
