If only it were that simple.

Does Lukey WANT to be a 6?
Who's the dominant half?
Who's play style responds better with the team?
What about other established pairings? I'd argue LH looked pretty damned good, for a first timer AND he's had a reserve grade season with the Boydsiah.

Problem is, we're doing TOO well, so my 'don't change a winning team' instinct is kicking in. But, we're talking about a Dally M calibre halfback here.

FUCK.

I'm glad we don't have to make the decision.

One thing for sure They both can’t kick from next to the post neither can CHT so Pomps or TT to take those kicks lol

Other NRL fans keep whinging that we keep getting the run of the green with the 6-agains and the penalties. But I think 3 games is enough to realize that this is not a fluke. When you constantly win the ruck like we have, the natural defense mechanism of the opposition is to slow the ruck down by giving away six agains and penalties. This has been the case for both home and away games now, so this can't be written off as a home ground thing that we benefit from at MSS.

Whinge harder Aussies.

I will start by saying I am very happy with our start this year like everyone else.

However I will die on the hill or Ali and Boyd not being first grade standard. So far we are getting through but the keep Boyd over Metcalf theme is outrageous. Its early rounds and definitive structures are easily tore apart. Knights were shockingly bad on our backrowers today

They’re just haters bro. They hate when we lose and hate when we win. The NRL’s agenda has been clear since round 1 regarding cracking down on ill-discipline. Opposition teams need to do better adjusting to it.

We’re basically playing with the equivalent of a depleted origin period team and putting on around 40 points per game.

Great to see Barney and Marata coming back with venom. Marata literally created the first try lol. We get CHT and CNK back next week too.

Egan’s pretty key rn I don’t think Healey offers anything close to the fluency in attack, might consider CHT/TMM when fit as the starting hooker if Egan is injured
Egans service is unbelievable- the way he hides that face ball u don’t know who he’s passing too half the time.
I’d love him to put his hand up for the kiwis.

Healys awesome he's shown how sharp he is out of dummy half.
At the midway point of each season once Egan misses origin he hits a wall,
When Healy recovers from his second year syndrome he'll hit the boost again.

A couple of things

Talk of ptsd and accumulated trauma from the past only applies to us has beens and never was's on this forums. The players are not affected by it and Webby has created a system that doesnt allow it.

Got to love sport humour a comment on the Knights site is warriors could only score 38, take that warriors

No problem we'll take those 38 points.

After a lot of the close grinding games the last few years I'm enjoing these wins where we score 30+ points.
