mid cover is an issue for me. I do have mid cover but we are talking about 30 point scorers like Cooper Bai/Hayward.

I just lost to Rizzah by 8 points but kept him honest the whole way. I probably need to make a master trade that picks me up 50 points to get my nose in front in these head to heads.

Is @Rizzah double dipping?

Everyone’s team is basically the same, and the even the ones that are different only have 4-5 guys in that ‘other’ pool of players. It doesn’t normally hit this point until late in the season. Not a lot to discuss when 16-17 of the 20 are the same.

Used a trade last week to go from Bai to Martin, and (for now) have used another this week to go from Dylan Brown to Doueihi. Have $1.496M is space.

At the moment I'm trying to talk myself out of trading Brown for Arama Hau or Ryan Couchman instead..

Some buyers remorse on Cheese and Stonestreet, but I don't want to use a trade on getting him out when I know I'll want him back as soon as he is back re: Smith, and I'm not really bothered either way re: Stonestreet.

Don't get Hau. His growth will be slow. Couchman is the only one getting decent minutes. He's this years Toby Couchman, so you need to get.

You should get a gun centre or wfb if you have 1.4mill left....

I'm thinking if I need to get another hooker as Mahoney didn't get 80 mins last week.

I've got all the cheapies.

Herbie will for sure be a buy for me at some point (Probably whenever Stonestreet puts up a shitter) but besides that I don't feel any draw to any of the other Ctr's or Wfb's yet.

Harry Grant is probably well on his way to being must have? I don't feel great having 4 players from the same team so haven't got him myself yet.

Will get on Couchman and Iongi for the time being, I am sure I will flip between Iongi and Doueihi will flip a dozen times before being locked out lol

I think there is more experienced players now so less of the quite basic stuff is being discussed. Plus I'm actively trying not to spam the thread haha.

Having 1.4 million in the bank at this stage of the game isn't good though. Money to trade up is good but money not spent is like money not in some investment.

Thanks on Iro - Sua is overachieving at the moment. 5 tries in two games. No one can keep that up.

As well as grant as has played also remember that his 63 in round one is understated as he left the field after 65 minutes with cramps otherwise he was going to post a 70. Grant is the priority pick up more so than Farnworth.
As i say he is compensating for lack of Paps by trying to be more offensively involved this year.

Herbie is priced pretty much correct. You are buying him because you want 60 points a week. He makes no money really.

Grant will get less points traditionally but at the moment will gain some $

More of the top 100/5000 have Herbie than Grant.

In the interests of making some content in the thread for people to read - I back tracked on this over night.
I decided to keep Iro if I keep him and trade away Fifita then I can avoid having one of he weak WFB cheapies in my starting 13.
A major move this week is people suringn up their outside backs in the Jamie Brown forum so I decided to follow this hot trend.
Although Iro has fallen from $630K to $584K in just two games and will probably slide to $450K soon - I have decided he has a reasonable floor. The worst he will do is 30 points so even though he may not be much of an asset this season someone who scores low thirties each week at centre is ok for that position. I also figure in the weeks where he actually scores a try he will make a 50. So they won't all be 30 scores.

Probably boring to read but a post in the thread anyway.
