Both have 6-8 points of value if they can get over 50mins on the field.
Tuilagi has slightly better stats, but the Eels bench is not great with 3 x SRs and a hooker.

Get A. Seyfarth @ $475
Thanks Rizzah

I don't have quite enough money to afford Seyfarth but his numbers look good when he plays second row.
Those 3 SRs will likely eat away at Kelma's minutes. And since he is 26 this season (not a bad age at all) compared to Finefeuiaki being 21 that has tipped me towards the younger man in case he has filled out more this year.

What do you make of Toia's job security at centre for Rooster?

Most are tipping Mark Nawa... to lose his spot to Billy Smith.

Toia at base price of $230k is a cash maker at best and EMG CTR coverage at worst.

45.1% ownership suggests he is a buy. Doesn't mean he is a keep

After much thinking about I have decided to anti POD. I think that is the phrase where you differentiate yourself by going against a popular pick, I can't get comfortable that it will be Marky Mark they replace. I think Robert Toia has less credentials and he will be the one to give way and i remember from last year that trades are gold in the initial rounds as you are restricted to two.

This is my second year playing. This year I have taken more time over my round 1 team. So I hope that sets me up for a better performance.

I listen to the casual athlete for tips although sometimes I find his advice questionable and almost wonder if he does it on purpose as the next week he tells us he himself went in a different direction from that advice that was shaky.

Fuck me. Feels good that i picked the right cheapies. But boy do i feel bad that i put em in emg...

It's a long season. Never nice to have good scores in the EMG.

I'm the same with Smith & Toia.

I can get Toia's score if I change Lucas to Fermor. But Lucas has been set for a while. I don't want to throw it all out just to grab some points.

The cash gen is more important this early anyway.

Mightys NZ v The Reservoir Dogs has tightened up to 3 points.

I'd say "Grab the chip n' dip n' grog and tune in!" except my Bench of 8 is shithouse. Only Sandon Smith has scored anything and Samrani and Mataele (both Eels) are 18-21 players so will probably get 0...
As for my 13: Josh bloody Curran's gonna take the field for the Dogs and twiddle his thumbs and get a Doughnut 'cos he's bloody injured!

I removed Gosiewski today for Hubner.... haha

I also have Hubner - as a random addition to my team. My most random addition is Hamish Stewart from the Dragons for $230K.

Toia off to a fast start - will reserve judgement if I made the wrong move to ditch him until a few more games.

My opponent the Kakapos have a 100 point lead on me. I am a bit cooked as I had three Warriors in my 17.

What a wild first few games. Pretty much every fantasy relevant player has scored really well. My team looks great so far, but so does everyone else’s. Feels very different to last season where getting value was so hard. This feels more like 2021.
Bummed I missed Haas. He’s such an awesome player to own.
I was swapping Watson in and out of my team all day yesterday. Glad I stuck with him in the end.

Building cash was so hard last season, if you chose the right cows this year it should be a good year (pending injuries :ROFLMAO:).
