Some dumb play. Like Harper has his opposite trapped in goal and strips the ball? Giving up a 7 tackle set. Like, why?

Great team play. Was nice to see less individual play. Too often in this grade players try to stand out and play as individuals and not pass etc. Still a few doing it but overall so much better

Some of the worst defence I have seen for a long time in this game, but to be fair the hooker was out of play for that passage. Lots of Roosters running the wrong way, colliding with each other, losing on first contact. Tough watch tbh.

TMM looks like he is being tackled by 4 year olds.

They just pulled what like 6 blokes from their cup team for 1st grade. Must be a bit of confusion.

Totally agree, Cup guys get white line fever trying to impress and forgetting it is a team game. (Hence try assists is an important statistic)

I think TMM had about a thousand to go with his two tries. Him and Boyd really seem to compliment each others play

Thanks. And then there are others that are offloading, passing and looking at what is the best for the team. What a win tho

Tbf they were terrible. Falling off tackles forever.
Our forwards were great both sides of the ball. Defence was huge and forced the errors

Asking as I don’t know - if he successfully stripped and grounded - would that be a try? Maybe he thought with being that much up if he pulled it off then it would work?

Only if he maintained possession of the ball. Low percentage play imo when we were building pressure and forced a drop out. Seven tackle set to them instead which is quite a momentum changer.
