NRL NRL tv shows

A lot of the journalists have been pretty critical of the players alcohol related behaviour. Then you see they have history themselves.

I wouldn't be surprised if a few players know the journalists aren't as clean as they make out when they bite back on the criticism.

No condoning his behaviour. But you do wonder with all of the criticism they heap on the players and they aren't angels themselves.

The journalists do have a sweet life. Most of them seem to hang out and drink with the players, coaches, CEO's, managers so they can build up a relationships. When you listen to them on NRL360 it sounds like they aren't paying either. At least they could sort out the taxi or uber home.

Turn on NRL 360 and they’re leading with the Manly Sea Eagles losing and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs players missing a flight. Meanwhile the Warriors just keep getting the job done.

If this was a Sydney team in the same position, they’d be calling them title contenders every second segment. For us, it barely rates a mention.

Yes i know, its an aussie show but what crap .

Not a bad thing imo.
Keeps the guys grounded and us out of the spotlight

Our fanbase alone in Australia is probably more than most Sydney clubs, they don’t like money apparently

Sydney show covers Sydney teams more.. Go figure.

Even if we kill it from here and take out the minor premiership, no one will take notice of us. We just have to accept that and continue to go about our business. I remember back in 2002 when we actually were the minor premiers, we still weren't taken seriously as contenders. That prelim against the Sharks we were like 4.00 outsiders or something crazy, even though we were the minor premiers coming off a bye and had beaten the sharks a few times already that year.

Yeah, I've attempted to watch NRL 360 a few times, and Warriorslessness aside, the journalists they have on the panel alone are pretty annoying to listen to, so don't bother anymore. Will just check out clips that pique my interest as they appear on forums or social media!

I quite like the Matty & Cronk wrap up show, which can be kind of like the analysis segments of SJ's League Lounge where they dissect certain plays of certain games from the round (along with a little bit of the normal news/rumours you get everywhere else). As someone that has never played and has very limited understanding of the technical side of the game, I find the analysis quite interesting 🤓

Does LLSN count ???

Shauny kills it every week. It’s a great vibe. Not tacky and cheap like you see from some of the NRL / Matty Johns shows…guest all look relaxed and always laughing. Such a chill vibe. Easily my fav NRL show

Anyone know why Devlin almost never talks about league this year? Always NRL content the years before and now it's all rugby, positivity don't sell? 🤣

Not sure. I was wandering this a bit as well as I watching a bit of his NRL/Warriors clips last year.

He was getting guests on to talk about the NRL last year. Or doing reviews of the round.

At the start of the year, I thought he was just following the grift. The All Blacks coach being sacked and the search for a coach were getting the views. That was before the season started.

On NRL 360 this week. I did laugh as James Graham is now on board with PNG after getting free trip over there.

Moving from being an athlete to a Podcaster. Quite a few of these guys are learning to embrace the grift like an influencer. I got paid for this thing, it is really great.

His quote was something like "It will be a unique experience for a player or for his family living in another country".

Now, yes Australia and PNG are a lot different to Australia and New Zealand. There is already a club in the NRL where you can experience another country/culture. As we have seen, Australians, for varying reasons, will want to return home. Even the ones that want to come here and experience a different country.
