sometimes it does look like TB intentionally throws the ball into open spaces to get a favorable bounce. The one against the chooks looked almost deliberate. I doubt it's a gameplan though.
Yeah, but it's kinda funny to claim that it is.
Eels are so far off the pace it's not funny. Early days but their defence is well off top 8 standard.

The Titans have scored forty and only conceded ten. I would be happy if the Warriors had of done the same against weaker opposition.
we've done that 4 times against much better opposition. At least 3 of their tries have been long range tries that I'd consider fluky. Parra have a 60% completion rate in this game. That's the story of the game. If we were winning 46-10 against this parra side and almost half our pts were from long-range tries from parra errors, I'm sure you'd be the first one to point that out.

Have you not watched the Titans before? they are long Try specialist, it is one of the few things, possibly the only thing, they do better than most teams in the comp.
I don't deny they are long range try specialists. I'm just pointing out that quite a few of their tries today are the result of parra errors in open play that they've scooped up and run the length of the field. Which goes to my pt- this game is really more about parra being shit.

I mean they've now done 10 more points than our highest. Roosters are always awful in there first round, especially so with the new halves combo and robson out. Knights had all 3 of there best players out for the first time (without brown, ponga and there best player sharpe). So i don't know if i'd count those two teams as "much better opposition" at that point in time.
Titans have just played really well. Punishing the eels on every error.
In saynig that, the eels refused to grind. And you can destroy the titans if you are willing to grind it out with them for a little bit.
on paper, would you argue that the tits are better than the chooks, raiders, knights or storm?How do you know they were better? We're only 5 rounds in, after all.
