A bit shit that all the teams were playing these last few weeks seem to be playing well.
I would have had us as odds on to win 6 or 7 of the last 8 about a month ago.
Eels are looking decent with Moses back. Manly are looking the goods too. The Dolphins are looking pretty amazing on attack. We can still win all of these games but much more challenging than I was hoping

I kind of think we need to prepare for Finals so it will be good to play teams that are coming into form.
We of course need to to secure a top 4 shot to be in contention.

Not too worried about them these teams can’t sustain it for 2-3 weeks in a row, or against tough packs, more worried if we turn up on the day and injuries or not
None of those games were ever givens. Even Dragons pushed dogs until the 80th minute won't be easy But turn up and play our game, we can and should win all those games.

Broncos players from going to a party to another funeral
Parra, Knights, etc can play spoilers for us. I'm not even ruling out the possibility that Newcastle could spark a major upset in Canberra tomorrow. They also play Brisbane at home in the final rounds. If Brisbane play like they did tonight and Newcastle play the way they did against us, that game is no given for them either.

Parra play Melbourne next week at home without Hughes, Paps and NAS. Could they do us another solid next week?

The media are really pushing that we could slip out of the top 4 after losing Barnett and Metcalf as the Broncos and Panthers are in form and chasing us. Melbourne lost last week and nearly lost last week and they have some tough matches on the run home. They could slip out as well. Especially if Hughes misses games.
The Broncos lost last night.
There is just as much pressure on the Broncos and Panthers with the sides chasing them for the 8.
Our side just needs to concentrate on each week like they have done all season.
Now that Origin has finished it will be a good run home to close out the season.

Even if we put 50 point win on the Dogs in round 23 they would still be talking about us dropping out of the top 4.

They are a predictable bunch aren't they.
Even if we stay there we will be written off in the finals. Sure, traditionally teams have star halves. But also it is a new competition and everything starts again.
Its always a good time to gloat when the Broncos lose!
