Seems to be that Galvin has been dumped on Ciraldo and told to make it work. I refuse to believe any sane coach would do what hes doing.

I think they have gotten a bit ahead of themselves , like they know a Sexton burton halves combo won’t push them to that next level of multiple gf wins.

Trying to do step 4 while on step 2 with putting galvin in. Also maybe they under estimated how specialised the halves are after being talked up for being a team of utility players and thought they could get away with it cause hes more talented.

Galvin should be playing cup like Cronk said, and wait like Tanah is with us, but clearly he's not that type of guy lol, so much for it's the agent/parents/kid's a good bloke a 19 y/o gen z footy player in 2025 is a lot more mature (or a dick in this case) than people want to believe

Galvin may be the better player but it ain’t working how they have it. Might need to look at burton or galvin at 13 when he comes on

god that was a good game btw... though a lot determined by scramble and individual effort - i felt like that was two 80% teams playing their top games - question is are there overall better teams that will fire?

I’m hoping to see a bounce back from us because I still think we’ve got more gears and it’s only just past halfway in the season. So long as we keep picking up wins and stay fit and healthy our combinations should become better and better. We need Berry to stay fit from here on out

Yeah I got the feeling Penrith really wanted that game, and was close to the best they've played all season (despite Clearly looking a bit injured). Not sure how much more improvement they have in them.

That's not a challenge to them though, hope they don't see this

But yeah, I feel we're still gelling and have more upside in our team, but jeeze that was a pretty impressive performance all round from both teams

Yeah, everyone played like they had something to prove - particularly noticeable with Burton who was really squeezing down on everything - i've been hating on the dogs big time so happy with the result too!

I thought they were too inexperienced throwing howlers when they could just take the tackles and they'll score eventually, Ivan must be like WTF. However that will improve with games like these, which is not good for other teams lol
