NRL NRL General Recruitment Thread

The Storm would be absolutely pissing themselves with laughter.

It's like those deals those shitty car dealerships give you $2000 towards your new purchase when you bring in your old beat up car.

Storm absolutely reaming the Tigers if they get rid of an older Nas and Olam for Blore and Stefano.
Chuck in the Katoa deal that were still paying off (I think) and it's easy to see why they're so successful
Tough situation for them where they could potentially end up with nobody if he chooses whatever destination he does. You’re right, it’s a far better deal for the storm but at least if they can secure NAS he’s a point of difference on a good day

I personally hope not. Harris is likely a front rower next year (if he's not already), Sifakula has moved to prop, Ford, JFH, Afoa, Zyon Maiu’u and Barnett.. I think we're pretty sorted TBH. Unless there is a top young talent available.

On NRL360 while they were talking out the Knights having cap issues. They mentioned Peter O'Sullivan coming in to sort out their cap.

The discussion went to the usual. Who is the coach managed by, these players they want to sign are managed by. Moses.

They said Moses negotiated O'Sullivan's exit from the Dolphins and there was a quick statement about how he didn't get a good payment or something from his last club. that would have been the Warriors.

He resigned. These guys live in a different work environment if even an office worker can resign and there is talk of a pay out.

Like his son in law who was also stood down for a bit it looks like he can make up the money he lost from being stood down.

That list looks good when you look at it but on closer inspection, Tohu will only be around for one more year, Barnett is much better suited to edge, as is Ford, with Zyon Maiu’u untested and Afoa purely depth at this point in his career.

We tend to make it work, but for sure I think we lack a 'real' prop with punch

They went over the bulldogs who were in negotiations with him apparently. Was going to be bulldogs where SJ was either going to them or Warriors when he came back. Would SJ head to the bulldogs?
I think Sj i done & settled now bro. He either stays another year. Or retires if we don't offer him anything.

Not the first time they have signed a champion half at the end of his career. Chance for Le Chad to get another premiership before retiring?
If you want a laugh, go have a look at their forum. Lost count of how many threw up in their mouths when they read the news of him joining. Apparently wants a career around the rugby league tv industry after his career, hence the move to Sydney
