He played in the Maori Rangatahi tournament when he was younger. I assume he has Maori heritage.I know this may have been covered before but how does Laban qualify for Nz Maori
Born in Samoa
Hiroti on the spot and gone. Should've flick passed it to Arthars on his left imo. Easier said...Fuck we made that hard. Great to see Jacob score the winning meaty.
How slow is Hiroti, make our backline look fast.
couldn't agree more ...Jesse would be such a great fit for the WAHs speed intensity no fear playerFew thoughts, was a great watch. Even with a number of errors the intensity made up for them. JFH is an animal, makes meters, makes tackles and has the respect to get away with a bit.
I wasn’t impressed with Laban last season but last night he showed what his potential is. Strong runs, big defence and athletic for a big body.
As mentioned by others Arthars is class. Quick, strong, skill full. Worth throwing money at.
CNK had a mixed night but his defence was top notch.
Ponga looked good for the time he was on.
Kini is a star.
Last but not least. Jazz. I’ve never been a fan and last night was his whole career in a nutshell. Good intensity and doesn’t stop trying but doesn’t know when to rein it in and prone to game losing plays and errors.
Pushes the limits and has a level of niggle that makes him look like a fool.
He’s a less skillful Ennis. And I hate Ennis.
Huge thanks to Manly for taking Jazz.
