The last I could find was him playing Jersey Flegg finals last season at Cronulla

Thought there was a bit to work with in Caius, great attacking prop but defensively probably not where you want him to be playing a tier down. Still young though and could be an impressive prospect later coming into his peak years as far as props go

Titans man.....seem to unearth a genuine speedster every season......for whatever reason we just struggle to produce real speed these days

I don't think NZ grounds through the age groups is conducive to developing consistent speed. Look at the ABs and super rugby, hardly a speedsters paradise either.

Not compared to the guys in QLD for example playing on rock hard surfaces all their lives.

Have to wonder how many genuine speedsters who are usually undersized just struggle to get through the grades.

A lot of truth there that I never considered. In that case why are we not getting young Aussies here - think back to the likes of Aiden Kirk, Justin Murphy. Perhaps we are too reliant on the big winger to return the ball?

To expand - I had a strong hunch that Molo would go to Manly, which would free up a Manly prop, who would come to us given Tohus medical retirement. If Saints insist on a Manly prop then it won’t happen.
Molo linked to cowboys, where he started. He’s apparently on $600k a season at dragons

Puts Parra back in the box seat if no one else wants him at 1.2 mill. They might be able to lowball him.
lowball him how? To renegotiate a different contract to what he had? Thats assuming he would have intetest above his reported 900-950k existing contract to even goto that step.
