International New Zealand Kiwis

Timoko was quite poor on defence for the Raiders vs Broncos. Walsh went straight down that edge and came up gold 3 times.
Timoko really is our only right edge centre besides Berry and potentially Pompey.

(I’m not suggesting he doesn’t get selected btw, I’m just saying)

Who are our most realistic fullback options? I don't think Kini's had enough game time to be ready and I'd doubt the Titans would want to risk him. Does that leave it to Charnze or Taine? Kris has played a bit of fullback but not for a while. Do they try someone like Karapani or Isaako there?

I'd prefer Mulitalo at the back. Hes a freak athlete. Warbrick & Isaako on the wings.
Yeah, could be another consideration for Stacey.

I've had a go at picking a 17. This would be on the basis the clubs don't release Hughes and Kini and no assumptions that previous Samoa and Tonga representatives would switch allegiance.

1 Isaako
2 McLean
3 Timoko

Bro, Lol. Rts has already committed to Samoa. Katoa has been part of Mate Ma Tonga for ages.

Hughes has a fractured arm. Even if he comes back in time & plays for Storm. They won't release him to play for the Kiwis.
He will rest and recover for next season.

Leka will most probably lineup next to Katoa for Tonga and play for his country of birth.

As for Kini, Titans may well ask him to turn us down too.
He's just come back from an injury.

I'd go

Isaako
Warbrick
McLean
Kris
Mulitalo
Brown
Foran
Tapine C (Sorry JFH)
JMK
Naufahu Whyte
Nikora
Papalii
Clark

Leota
JFH
? RIKI? Poo....
Nikorima
