I went to the final in Hamilton last year and no one knew the game was on. Was mainly filled with chiefs members who got notified from the stadium admin that the game was on.

The Kangaroos didn't know the game was on. That's why they failed to turn up.

Man he spoke glowingly of his upbringing in NZ and his time here.
Sounded like a proud Kiwi in the interview.
But I agree, the Tonga jersey is what he is all in on, he has said several times he wants to play for them and if he can play for NSW at the same time he could well do that.

Yeah I don't know what the OP was on about, most of the people where I was were people involved in Waikato club rugby league and wearing Kiwi jerseys.

It was the NRL casuals that were out in force for the Warriors/Tigers game that didn't really show up.
