FrankWhite was opining this issue heaps during our horror run. Think he even started a thread about itPrefer him on that right edge myself. It's noticable in the last 3 weeks the difference our 11,12 and 13 have made to the performance of the team
On an edge he would run between a half and an edge. Or over a half. Or through an edge. He has done it this year but like our whole team....not consistentlyI feel like Niukore has been a disappointment overall and has not justified the money he's on. Apart from the injuries and suspensions, he just hasn't been effective.
Like @Wrighty says, I'm new to league and don't know the ins and outs of playing positions, but everytime I see this guy try to run into a hole he gets cut short easily. Big for nothing vibes same as I get with Bunty. Don't remember seeing too many tackle busts given his size and hype.
For the $850k he's on I'd expect a bit more oomph.
I wouldn't mind moving him on, promote a junior and use majority of that money to get someone with a bit more strike power. The Tigers and a few other clubs would surely be interested.
Too one dimensionalI feel like Niukore has been a disappointment overall and has not justified the money he's on. Apart from the injuries and suspensions, he just hasn't been effective.

As a bloke who has played edge back row prop and centre he should know how to position himself to run a gap or at weak shoulder of a defenderToo one dimensional
Straight and hard
Easy pickings for someone who can tackle
Might as well throw him into Prop unless RTS can teach him one of his steps
625 - 850k is not marquee with the cap these days.I remember being stoked to sign him then falling off my chair when I heard what we had paid.
Good player but not marquee level.
Where does the 625 come from?625 - 850k is not marquee with the cap these days.
To be fair to the big fella - SJ always gives him the short flat ball so he’s literally hitting the line. No room for him at all to work with. Just a battering ram all the time and predictable. As a bloke who has played edge back row prop and centre he should know how to position himself to run a gap or at weak shoulder of a defender
He was originally signed at 625k, 850k is the amount that was said by a DT article where they make up all the salaries.Where does the 625 come from?
850 is big money especially when we signed him- that’s Isiah Yeo/ pat carrigan kinda coin- he’s not in that class.

It’s not just zero tackle though- Fox sports, daily telegraph and various other sources all report the same.He was originally signed at 625k, 850k is the amount that was said by a DT article where they make up all the salaries.

Even with the % rise in cap, he's still on less than 850k if 625k rose by the same %.I thought it was $625 before the collective agreement was signed, and then as the salary cap rose, many players had a bump in their salary to match the bump in the salary cap.
I remember Addin being on around $800k and that got bumped past a mill too
Zero Tackle, Fox Sports and DT use the same source mate. I haven't seen any others. It’s not just zero tackle though- Fox sports, daily telegraph and various other sources all report the same.
They could all be wrong but what makes “stuff” so reliable in your eyes?
Last year we knew how to run lines and gaps and this year we still know how but we have team issuesTo be fair to the big fella - SJ always gives him the short flat ball so he’s literally hitting the line. No room for him at all to work with. Just a battering ram all the time and predictable.
Mix it up son.
So what’s so reliable about stuff?Zero Tackle, Fox Sports and DT use the same source mate. I haven't seen any others.
Ah yeah that sounds plausible and familiar… I think this has already been gone over a few times.I thought it was $625 before the collective agreement was signed, and then as the salary cap rose, many players had a bump in their salary to match the bump in the salary cap.
I remember Addin being on around $800k and that got bumped past a mill too
It was reported from the same source as the others - Newscorp, this is why I said 625 - 850k.So what’s so reliable about stuff?
