We lost belief in ourselves. That's all I can think. We are notorious for our inability to finish a season strong

This club has always been mentally weak. It’s ingrained in the culture.

We showed positive signs earlier this season, we won a lot of close games due to the effort and belief they had in themselves.

But as things stacked against the team as the season went on, they lost that belief and went back into their shell.

The inconsistent reffing doesn’t help. It’s not an excuse, but the bullshit would be mentally taxing in itself. And trying to have the mindset of not complaining and controlling what you can control…end of the day these boys are human and you can only take on so much injustice.

Doesn’t excuse how poorly we’ve played, but it’s naive not to acknowledge that we have been refereed different now compared to earlier this season (it feels like the quality of reffing has dipped overall this season too)

When channel 9 had Ray Warren, the Aussie commentary was way better than Sky. However I think Fox League commentators make the games almost unmatchable. Voss, Cronk, Alexander & Roach are awful !
