History tells us he won’t be playing finals this year either..
Choosing Dragons as his next club also shows us his hand .. he’s not about winning .. all he cares about is playing no.7…. It’s almost an obsessive compulsive disorder

You may be on to something. There was a Facebook video I think his Mrs put up (may have been posted in here also) where he wakes up from surgery still drowsy under the effect of the medical drugs where he's talking about set plays and where other players need to be.
With that in mind, him going to the dragons then tanah being ruled out for the season I kinda feel sorry for him. Very likely he ends up regretting it.
I think the club handled it well. Backed the coach and didn't let him hold them to ransom even if he was a "star" player

Like I posted earlier, form warrants selection and injuries dictate who plays.
For now, Metcalf isn't selected based on form..

Sliding doors moment, if Tannah doesn’t get injured he probably pushes for an early exit to the Dragons. Tannah got injured, he sees the opportunity to play 7 and win a premiership.
Will be interesting to see him integrate back with the team next week, but this whole thing seems a bit volatile still.

What's this TMM is more a 6 than a 7 talk? That is irrelevant because it's also true of Metcalf ( and CHT).
I reckon TMM has more 7 traits than Metcalf.
What i like about Metcalf is that he wants the ball when it's clutch time and the pressure is on. And he can run fast. But that's got nothing to do with being a 7.
