Imagine the likes of Leka and Demi having to put their bodies on the line for this guy when one of Boyd/CHT gets injured, and getting bossed around the field while he crabs across the park. So we drop TMM off the bench for him next week? 😂
Hope a few games in cup then they compassionate release him
I remember how salty we all were at Cronulla refusing an early release while he was playing cup for them- now wonder a bit what he may have been like behind the scenes there?
Also find it quite telling that seemingly the majority of Dragons fans aren’t to impressed with his signing citing the injury history and his antics leaving us. We may have dodged a bullet after all

Surely even if it isn't luke at 7. They've gotta change something fundamental to change that putrid attack up. So it would not surprise me to see him move to 6 for a local junior like Campbell has at the titans.
You would think so but Gould’s ego won’t allow him to give up on Galvin who he labelled the greatest teenage rugby league player of all time

I don't know about any of you guys but I actually feel sorry for Metcalf a little bit. He just re-signed not long ago and now he's gonna cut his stay short. I reckon he genuinely liked it here. Nobody could have predicted Boyd was gonna play so well and keep Metcalf out of the team. Its a shame he didn't want to give 5/8 a go. No player is before the team. If Boyd does get injured who is gonna be backup half with no Metcalf here?
It’s a huge u-turn by the Warriors and only on 9 game sample size because Boyd didn’t do enough last year to convince them or they wouldn’t have signed Metcalf for 900 thousand for 27.

The situation has worked out well for both parties. Metcalf has secured a new contract, which means he can focus on this season.

The Warriors have moved a large contract without paying any freight and can move forward with Boyd and freeing some money up for more signings.

Credit to the Warriors management here they’ve managed this very quickly and well. Hopefully everyone including Metcalf can focus on the rest of the season so we can have a crack at the title.

Let’s say you’re the # 1 employee in your place of work and a new guy starts, all of a sudden he starts performing better than you and you see your position dropping down the ladder. You have two choices, try to reclaim that position or leave. Most people will have the attitude to say fuck it I’m leaving. Luke is probably at the prime of his career. He’s got 4/5 years to make a name for himself, make sure his financial stable and support his wife and child. All this hate just doesn’t make sense, disrespect the team, jersey, he can fuk off now etc. I bet most of you if put in his position will do exactly the same. Perhaps it might be wise to stop throwing stones at glass houses and look at the bigger picture.

I can see the #2-100 employees, bosses and shareholders, who spent 3.5 years sending this self anointed #1 employee overseas for the best treatment possible, and he still gets sick every single year and not working 60% of the time, when the stand-in became the top 2 manager in the region, they still offer him an equally important co-manager position at the expense of another most improved employee, then he gets sick again, and goes on local media to say he wants that manager's job, and then leaks to more media about how he can only be the co-manager position for the short term and is sending the bosses a please explain letter

Few days later he auctions himself and only 2 companies came along, and he ends up with the worst company in the region, and his supporters (not the neutrals) now tell everyone that because he has a family, YOU need to keep your emotions in-check otherwise YOU are the problem.

Why would you get emotional about an employee at a company that you like but dont work for?

I'm not, but I can understand why many customers who buy the company's products, subscriptions and tickets to support them for 30 years are calling him a sook and they have the right to do so.

So you never get any emotions watching these employees perform for a company that you don't work for?
