Haven't read any pages yet, but What a scrappy performance, can blame one or two players but our whole energy levels were just down tonight.
Tannah will be better after the run you'd rather he missed a few clutch moments now than finals time. We won the game via Leka Haliaseanas miracle/devastating run and also Tannahs goal kicking.

I gave this game a C. I would say this along with our Campbelltown win are our two worst wins. Although I felt we won the middle battle over the course of the full game, our edge defense was our worst all year. That needs to be cleaned up.

As for player performances, I thought Taine was a bit quiet. Granted, he had a 15 min HIA spell. But he needed to get a bit more involved when we had good ball. DWZ had a game to forget I'm afraid both on attack and defense. RTS a beast at 266m. As for the forwards, we won the middle battle overall, outrunning them in total meters and pcms. Clark did his Clark thing. Ford again 100+ meters. But the guys who stepped up were our young guns: Leka and Demi. Best two impact forwards in the game right now.

As for Boyd, I know a lot of people will give him shit about the goal kicking and field goal misses. But those watching cup knows that he nails all these kicks 9 times out of 10. He just let the pressure get to him a little bit. We know he is better than that, as he showed last week. I know the boys will be getting in and showing him some love and get back on the horse for next week.

We probably deserved to lose that game. But there's destiny about us this year.The footy gods want us in the top 4. It is our year. Not the Broncos year. Or the Panthers year.. Or the Sharks year. Or the Roosters year. Or the Phins year to make the 4. It is our year. So suck shit everyone who wants us gone from the 4.

That was a frustrating watch.

We didn't get much luck at all for 79 minutes of that game. I know there's going to be a lot of hate for Boyd but, I thought his long and short kicking game was excellent, also kicked those conversions that I feel we would have missed 1 or 2 if Metcalf had the tee, shame he didn't have a clutch play in him.

Wash that one, onto next week.

I would argue that game sums up our season.

Pretty average team with an average game plan saved by individual brilliance. Been happening all year.

Not sustainable but might be enough to hold on to top 4.

We've been given every indication this year that we are not a top 4 team, at some point need to start believing what we are seeing.

Disappointed it took until the last couple of minutes to actually play some enterprising attack, way too robotic before that.

Not hard to see why Boyd has been running around reserve grade for years, ice man he is not.

Take the 2 points, flush the dunny and hope to christ the Titans don't bring their A game to Mt Smart.

We played heaps better in the second half, we shut down their amazing left edge strike, we made good meters, controlled the game.

We deserved to win you eggs. That is what good teams do, correct a bad start and go on and win anyway they can....which is often a freak play or player breaking the minnows heart.

Haha, bacon n'eggs sounds tastier, s42 (hash browns, tomatoes and mushrooms to boot).

Good result, although it could've gone south easily.

Agreed. Boyd, running the game as 7 with Metcalf for the x factor and clutch kicking (just not normal kicking lol) as 6 might be our answer.

Gotta give Boyd some time to gel with the spine. Its only his 2nd game in warriors colours. I think it's far to early to call what half combo is best next year. Coming from the titans as well where they chopped and changed his position on any fuck up, he's bound to have some yips. How the coaching staff and players respond after this game will only help him grow.

Sure it wasn't our performance like vs the Sharks, but to say we didn't deserve it or Boyd is rubbish etc, I think pull your head in a bit...

Just a reminder we are missing 3 of our top players - our Dally M leading halfback, our captain and key front rower, and our metre eating fullback. So to keep punching out wins in Oz is impressive, whether they had the shits or not.

Boyd slotted some nice conversions to still be in it at the end and his field kicking was solid too I thought. To hang shit on him for a couple of shanked kicks isnt fair imo.

Just enjoy the win! That was insane! As a long suffering fan I am surely savouring moments like that and any win in Oz.

I didn't mind us stealing the win at Campbelltown. Wests fan are very annoying. But I have a soft spot for the Knights. They've had a shit year and their fans are very lovely people. The people who run this podcast also love the wahs too and give us love every chance they get. So I had no joy watching them feel this pain. We have been here so many times before as well in the past
