Yeah just heard that on a Podcast. Speculation they will all link up at the Roosters.

We follow a crazy game.
i forgot Ivan used to play for those dirty roosters....

i can see all of them moving closer to the heart of Sydney with Rooster brown paper bags.. living in those luxury mansions over in the eastern suburbs...

Maybe the persistent rumours about him and his son going to the roosters have some legs.

Would be weirdly ironic that they'd shaft old pan face robinson during the first year the roosters are actually playing well since the turn of the decade.
The rumour doing the rounds is that he wants to go to the role of a coaching director rather than a coach. I’ve seen it mentioned a few times the Warriors

Rabbits forum speculating

What about the kiwis in 2028? Would be coaching against Nathan though but NSW will pick him straight away. Problem would be who coaches them in 2027 for a single year?

lol as soon as I saw the Cleary press conference I just knew the delusion would ramp up here.
We really need to give up on the Cleary fantasy it’s getting kind of sad.
Delusions of having multiple premierships and having peak Nathan aren’t reality. With the resources we had at the time we would have had Tigers Cleary and NZ don’t develop halves well, Nathan would not have been the player he became in Penriths systems if he’d stayed in NZ.
Move on from the ‘what if’s’ and get on board with what Webby is building

If the Warriors were to end up in this extremely unlikely position, there is every risk that the carefully built (from the ground up) success that the Warriors have built gets destabilized.

One of things that drives the Warriors staffers is that this is their brain child, they created this new look Warriors. That is what gets them out of bed in the morning I am sure, I know in their shoes I would be skipping to work going wow we did this. Imagine bringing in another big fish or two and assuming everything will keep evolving organically in the direction it has been when you add two huge externally acquired voices to the chorus.

Part of the magic that Webster has created is that he takes struggling players and turns them into top NRL performers, I cannot see for the life of me what Penrith men can add to that since Webster already has read their play book. Some people like projects, they want a barn full of vintage cars that they can tinker with, and other people want a new Ferrari. Webster is very much in the mode of a tinker, and he has been a very patient man with his builds.

I just worry. I worry that the Warriors will make the same mistakes they have in the past and meddle with things that shouldn't be fiddled with.

On paper the Roosters and their cheating Cap should be where the Panthers are, the unbeatable NRL franchise. But they aren't coz they cannot help themselves, they have no dna of their own. No one feels secure, a deep loyalty to the place. They buy premierships. Yes it works in the short term, Manly did it, the Storm, and others, but New Zealand needs a long term strategy, one carefully thought out, and they really need to hang onto anyone involved in this juggernaut as tightly as they are able.
