The nrl final used to be on a Sunday at 6pm nz time . Some reason they have it later in Australia now.

The first Grand final I went to was in 1975 Dragons v Roosters on a Saturday afternoon. Both NRL and AFL played at the same time on Saturday afternoon.
TV dictates everything now.

We dont get the grand final build up on Sky. Just a replay of the prelim.
