I hope it isn't another cardiac event tonight. The last 4 weeks have been glorious but I fear has considerably shortened all of our lives. But not just for us fans, the team can't keep playing finals level intensity nail biters every week. It will catch up with us eventually. I'm hoping for a clean, solid 13+ victory that a 2nd placed team should ordinarily obtain over a 12th placed one.

The blueprint for victory is as others have said. Press home our middle advantage. Barney, JFH, Erin and Marata, Demi coming on through the bench to set the platform and the return of our triple banger back three of CNK, RTS and DWZ to build on it. Then get Leka and Marata to run at Nikorima all day. Kodi is a damaging ball runner but as we know from his time here, he's also an idiot under pressure. He will crack under our relentless gameplan. Do all that and we won't have to worry about Hammer, Herbie or Isaako.

Here's hoping for a statement win. Wahs 30 Dolphins 16. We then get to go home like the champions we are on a 5 game winning streak to rewrite the wrongs of the Vegas debacle that never happened.

Hard to believe after that Vegas ambush we’d go on to win 7 games and losing only one - to the storm.

We’ve taken some decent sculpts in Manly, Roosters,Broncos and Cows.

Can’t faulter now when we play the bottom 8 teams like the Phils

We have to go on and not just win but win well.

Important pt here is so far we've only been beaten by other top 4 teams. We've beaten everyone else outside the 4. We need to continue that trend today.

haters need to get their story straight. All week the reason for tipping against us was that we'd be drained after being on the road for 3 weeks and this game would be where it all goes pear shaped. Of course they don't apply that reasoning to tipping against the dogs this week who have also been traveling non-stop over the last 3 weeks as well (Brisbane - Canberra - Sydney). Now it's all about our body clock. You can always come up with a BS stat to support your own confirmation biases.

Cant shake the feeling we're probably due a flat performance. The intensity levels we've had to play at to win all these games that have gone down to the wire, and to stay so switched "on" for 80 minutes every week are a hard one to sustain.

That said im really hoping the returning and new players (Fish, RTS, Dallin, TSS - good luck young man) provide a big energy boost and re-energize the Team mindset.

As always forwards to set the platform, cut down the space and time for their strike filled backline,' dont think completions and possession paramount even needs to be said anymore....its part of this teams DNA ......hopefully outside backs stay connected whatever defensive policy their using, and whatever they do dont get caught ball watching Katoa.
