Great to see. He’s really kicked on after looking like he was in competition with Zyon Maiu’u for that smaller middle forward position. He’s progressed while Zyon Maiu’u has gone backwards to a degree and gives me the impression of different attitudes between the two. Does anyone if TSS was let go by the bulldogs, or if it was TSS wanted to return to NZ? He’s playing for a contract extension too, so I’m expecting him to put his best foot forward
He wanted to return to NZ. He wasn't there for long anyway. Did a couple training sessions with Dogs SG ball.

As mentioned regarding Zyon Maiu’u going the other way, sad to see after there was so much hype surrounding him. Interesting TSS making selection over Ale and their contract status, feel like Ale is right on the outer despite recently returning from injury
Unwarranted hype. Zyon Maiu’u never did anything other than run over some kids in a domestic U20's competition.

Yeah its wraps for Ale you would have to assume unfortunately. Younger guys coming through who will probably yield more long term benefits if they are invested in. Ale will get snapped up in Aus for sure. Thought he was on the bring of being an NRL mainstay in one of those Redcliffe covid years. Was unstoppable in QLD cup that year. One of the most unlucky injury runs.

Guess Bunty and Ale could be in competition for another spot after both off contract at the end of the year, but Bunty being used gives the impression he’s favoured over Ale too? Hope he gets more opportunities to impress

Earn it. Impose our style and plan. It works. Can we sustain it today? I think so. This game is there for the taking.
