a bit disappointed Capewell didn't figure in the Dally Ms this week, superb - but I'll still feel better when Ali L is back in his slot.
Our back line defence was interesting: DWZ jammed in and defence swept behind to cover. Nicely coached, and effective against a faster side. As long as it's not overused and the opposition can plan to pull it apart...

We saw that last year with TMM pulling try assists out at will and winning games and not getting Dally M points

Good on Metcalf leading the race so far. I genuinely hope he continues to and we get a Dally M player of the year again. But it would be interesting to see who the judges are and if they actually watch the game or a few highlights. For me, Capewell deserved points in that game. Clark and CHT have been consistently better performers of the season to date IMO. Actually Egan is smashing it and not getting the recognition. Top Hooker in the comp.

The commentary is kind of all over the place. Most analysis I see names pretty much every player at any given point.

One week it's Pomps, the next it's Erin, week after is Capewell, Barney and Metcalf.

I mean you can't take them seriously eh? - the ambiguity between MVP and 'best player in comp', the blind ballot for second half of year, the two judges etc etc - it has so many issues as an award - the players' one is probably has more integrity - not to say Luke isn't doing well etc etc.

This is certainly true and we are lucky enough to have multiple players at the top of their game at the moment. Long may it last.
On the subject of Luke I am sure that all those guys will be excited about his position in the Dally Ms.
