Gough had a shocker both ways I thought - I get sick of square ups, the 'managing the game' shit, and he was calling a lot of very quick 'holding down' ruck infringements - we were the better team, they didn't really threaten our line until that last 10

I feel like you almost want to be the heavily penalised team and try not give away many points in the first half. Because of the way the officials second half square up and the momentum that comes with the current game. You're almost guaranteed a second half wet sail home unless your are shite.

mate the way i see it is the potential he has look at his kicking during play, a beautifully struck 2 point field goal that narrowly misses. His Linking play is starting to come off i think he's building perfectly and if he manages to stay injury free he will get an origin call up in the near future.

Dallin wasn’t punished for wandering in off his wing because our old mate kodi has never had the passing game of the best halves and just can’t exploit it.

A team with gifted playmakers would be able to but that’s not the bulldogs or the raiders, this year it’s really just Melbourne. Brisbane if Walsh was on song would eat it up as well, but they’ve got other problems.

- JFH was fantastic to have back, but can someone give us a good take on how long we might be without him? Any chance of an early guilty play and missing no games…? Cause if Barney gets the origin call up we are going to be pretty thin next weekend!

I'm going to guess two weeks, or one with early plea.

Cotter got three weeks for his one on Niukore which wasn't picked up during the game, wasn't a penalty or bin. That had no mitigating factors as Cotter was standing up, so was Niukore and was direct shoulder contact to the head.

Given there was a bit of mitigating for JFH, falling player and sin binned. Can't imagine the same as Cotter.

But would be very surprising to see him line up next week at a minimum.

It's just a personal preference of mine haha, everytime I tip them i find we lose it's not that I don't back them.
Tippings different i kinda like throwing a bet to the opposition, especially from the Hurrell, brodene, Vatuvei, Wright, mateo dodgy eras,
I been a supporter since 95 so seen it all but my trust in them is nearly fully back.

The problem with square up penalties is that often we've got them when they can't make a difference. So you get 40 put on you then get no real advantage penalties.

Really feel Pompey is the unsung hero of the team at times.

Comes up with some enormous plays at times. That run late where he just powered through about 4 or 5 of them, quick play the ball for Clark to dart through a few more.

That's a massive play to get us on the front foot
