I don’t know, but to add some info, when he signed as a 15 year old in 2019 he was referred to as Sisa Vaimauga, aka Demetric, in a Facebook post by his club.
Edit: he probably saw this meme and was like nah, let’s change names back lol.

Multiple names could be a result of living with a Dad who registers you everywhere as Demetric Sifakula.. Then moving to live with a Mum who says "your name is Sisa Vaimauga!" Then they all get fed up with you and you go live with your grandmother who is pissed off and gives you another name from her maiden name. True stories

Last season was disrupted with his recovery from his knee injury. He got half a season in and even being a late starter there was a lot of promise.

Interesting in the slides of him, the one with just he and Spencer Leniu on opposing teams. I had thought Zyon Maiu’u was going to be a similar prototype as Leniu, I now think Demitric fits the mould best. Looking at preseason pictures so far, it looks like Zyon Maiu’u and Demitric have a bit of banter with each other. I hope this extension for Vaimauga lights a fire in Zyon Maiu’u to follow suit

More likely Samoa with a surname of Vaimauga but haven't seen anything to say either way.
