Roger is our best fullback by a mile. Shout out to Charnze for his efforts, but every game Roger has played at fullback since Webbys return he’s been outstanding. Yes Charnze makes 200 metres a game but he has 1 try and 3 assists all year, know where near good enough in a key position. Roger makes things happen he is X factor and is wasted on the wing.

We’ve got 3 days to find some backs.
Dwz, Kosi, Berry and Pompey are average.
Speed kills and we have none

I'd have preferred to have played the Panthers earlier in the year. The Broncos have been hot and cold all year but we hit them the second time as they have been improving.

While we are in a bit of a down spot. Plus a few injuries mounting up again.

Seen an identical pattern in all losses

Opposition committed to out muscling us early. Particularly v Canberra & Penrith at Mt Smart and this game.

Gang tackling, get us on the back foot - simple and effective.

Barnett is proving to be such a huge loss.

Bye followed by Tigers, Knights, Titans - If we don't get 8 out of 8 points kiss top 4 bye bye
yeah, Barnett massive loss

I avoid these threads like the plague after a loss. This one hurts quite a bit as I know we are better. But that first half was awful, can't even blame injuries on it like we can for the second half. Just error after penalty after error. How can we build pressure when we do that shit, it's the bane of our whole game plan as a team. Its beyond disappointing, the broncos did not play well enough to force those IMO. I don't know if a bye will help or hinder. But some kind of change must be found for our discipline to improve.

Metcalf and CNK being out for a while sucks. I hope it's not major. I don't think a new person in those positions fixes the errors we have. Its a fundamental issue.

We were out enthused from the start and we were playing catch up from there. The Broncos did to our forwards what we have been doing to opposition packs.
The ref played a big part. Although we gave him plenty of opportunities to blow the whistle. When we have the upper hand we don't do the dumb stuff that we do when we're defending. Something they're going to need to work on more.
I'm not blaming Ed for the loss because he had some helpers out there but I felt he missed out on 2 tries that a better winger would have scored. His defensive play wasn't any worse than DWZ but that's not saying a lot
Two weeks to pick up the pieces and bounce back.
