Yep it's gone over Bribie Island but down here in south Brisbane we have bugger all wind, the rain has started thoughHiggins reckons you guys are getting it now up in QLD. Stay safe. Hosing down here with about 600mm since Tuesday. Flooding all the way down to Taree and Old Bar in NSW with varying degrees of hideousness.
where abouts are you mate ?We had a big flood in 2011 but our most recent was 2022
Between February 23 and 28, the Brisbane area received 400–1100 mm of rain
The Brisbane River peaked at 3.85 meters at the Brisbane City Gauge on February 28
The flood affected more suburbs and properties than the 2011 flood
Just heard from a friend in Broadbeach who said he is OK.Downgraded to a tropical low now. Still sounds pretty wild though.
Hopefully everyone’s ok.
Good.Pretty much a nothingburger over this side of the city. Few wind gusts, bit of rain. Had worse weather multiple times in the last year..
There was no real way to accurately pick it to cross when it did and at the intensity it eventually did. Over prepped for sure bro. Better safe than sorry etcI get the preparations but shutting down for a week might have been a bit excessive

Loud winds and lots of rain overnight but still has power and internet
Yeah we're good. Was talking about the city in general. There was no real way to accurately pick it to cross when it did and at the intensity it eventually did. Over prepped for sure bro. Better safe than sorry etc
