chiming in from far north qld, seen a couple cyclones in my time - stay safe everyone i will be thinking of you all!
Held up in Gold Coast for a few extra days because of flight delays, what a shame!

How funny is it that over the last few days the forum has been flooded with threads of player names, for a minute there i thought Cyclone Vaianu was the name of one of our Flegg boys coming through the ranks

Cloud cover is slowly coming in here in Wellington. No sign of any wind yet. Have put the rubbish bins in the garage and about to go get the washing off the line.

Fine time for my sun room to start leaking again last week. More annoyed for the multiple times we have got it repaired. The last one was a $20k+ rebuild including work on the roof.
Ended up doing some repair myself in preparation for the cyclone. Pretty confident it will hold up.
Went out today mainly to get some bread if we are stuck at home today. Thought I'd get a few other things. Both supermarkets cleared out of water. Well the larger cheaper bottles. Always amused me a bottle of Pump is $4.50 and a 1.5 litre bottle is 90c -$1 sometimes.

Was probably the calmest day all year in Wellington today - Forecast shows nothing more than a standard Wellington windy day the coming couple days thankfully. Actually golf looks OK for tomorrow morning even.
