Yep it's gone over Bribie Island but down here in south Brisbane we have bugger all wind, the rain has started though
Stay safe everyone who knows what's to come

We had a big flood in 2011 but our most recent was 2022
Between February 23 and 28, the Brisbane area received 400–1100 mm of rain
The Brisbane River peaked at 3.85 meters at the Brisbane City Gauge on February 28
The flood affected more suburbs and properties than the 2011 flood
where abouts are you mate ?

Thankfully it appears QLD Morons don't get the cyclone in its fullest ferocity.

At the same time the southern section of it has inundated a whole bunch of NE 💙 Mighty NSW. The winds haven't been as fierce but the rain has accumulated since Tuesday and it's going to take time to recover from the flooding around a whole bunch of low lying areas .....again.

I get the preparations but shutting down for a week might have been a bit excessive
There was no real way to accurately pick it to cross when it did and at the intensity it eventually did. Over prepped for sure bro. Better safe than sorry etc

Are you able to re open early?
