Pick Your Team Brisbane Broncos v NZ Warriors - [Round 11, 2026]

Honestly I'm a bit scared that they're so depleted yet still beating teams and almost ran down the roosters from 0:30
In many respects, playing the Broncos without their superstars might be harder. When there are injuries, ordinary players play 3x as hard when they know their key players aren't there to be relied upon. I'd say the best Bronc performances have been during their depleted period: they were horrendous to start the year when they had their full squad to pick from.

I'd say we are playing the toddler broncos: they aren't babies because Walsh, Reynolds will both play against us. They will still be a handful and the 2023 Napier debacle should be on our minds. But if we are a true contender, this is another game we SHOULD win, with the goal now being to get out to 9-2 and head into Penrith on a 6 game winning streak.

The good thing is that we are winning all the games we SHOULD win now. After the euphoria of the Melbourne win, I was worried the complacency that cost us v tigers would rear its head again. Towards the end of last year, we slipped up in all three corresponding games. So to nail them all and get out to 7-2 for the 2nd year in a row suggests to me the team is all dialed in now and we will aim up for this.

Rocco Berry will supposedly be available for selection. I assume he'll t play cup, but weirder things happened

Was just wondering this too.

Webster has already shown his hand with bringing Metcalf in as soon as he could, I wonder if Berry is in that category too? Essentially in FG when fit?
He deffo fits the Webby game plan, and with Roger out (do we know how long for?) its and opportunity to chuck Rocco in and swap Ali over to Rog's side now and get a weeks training behind you.

If Roger is only out for one or two weeks after the bye however, I think id rather Pomps left and Ali right.

Are you guys seeing this online today lol
Nicho rubbing it in 🤣

"In a separate interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, Noah's dad Cori – a Tigers tragic – blamed himself for Noah's heartbreak because he had been raised on re-runs of the Tigers' 2005 grand final triumph over the Cowboys, which had led Noah to believe the Tigers were invincible.

"He was under the impression the Tigers won every week - I didn't have the heart to show him some of their other games," he said.

"Now he's old enough to understand the Tigers don't always win. You saw that on Sunday. At least he's had a bit more to cheer this season."

Sharks star Nicho Hynes recorded his own video to Noah, and unsurprisingly tried to convince him to switch allegiances.

I'd bring charnze in for sheck and swap pompey back for Ali.
Barney on the bench.
Otherwise same team.
Webby might start marata though and push leka to the bench
please tell me you are trolling us with the CNK to center. I blame that experiment entirely for our only 2 losses for the season. CNK is either FB at the expense of TT or not in the side for me.

Update on the mariner situation. Safe to say he won't be playing against us or anyone for the time being. What an awful situation to be in. Hope he pulls through.

I had / have bilateral extertional compartment, swelling inside the muscle putting pressure on the fascia during exercise, but acute compartment syndrome is normally via a crush mechanism.

Im having a hard time contending that this happened via the cork no matter how bad and Im leaning towards the thigh strapping recreating crush like conditions.

you think broncos medical staff have something to answer for then?

this is not the game to be debuting Fats, let alone in the starting center position. Ali comes in on DWZ's edge and Pompey shifts to the other side. Barney in for EIT. No other changes is probably how Webby goes.

Fatialofa is not starting at centre in first grade when he has barely touched that position in years. What is up with this forum and trying to shovel players in random positions? It will be Leiataua preferably and hopefully not Charnze but possible.

Charnze will be on the 6 man bench as he does provide decent back line cover.
