He’s not developing pathways on his own, the coach of flegg or sg ball or whatever grade is involved too and makes sense Webster has input to ask for areas to work towards with the players ultimate goal to be playing first grade under him
That’s not pathways that’s player specific development.

NZWarriors.com

A question that no seems to answer, why do we need Webby to develop the pathways? He’s neither the GM nor the director of football.
My understanding would be it is more under Andrew McFadden. He has the recruitment team under him which would cover scouting the young guys for the various sides in the pathways systems.

Webster would might be involved in some of the meetings or be aware of specific players. He should be more across their development when they are closer to first grade. For example checking in with the NSW Cup coach on how specific players are progressing. Or watching the games himself.

He does attend the NSW Cup games when the first grade side has a bye, or not playing on the same day.

The main guys (George, McFadden, Webster) at the club would be across recruitment and development. But my understanding the pathways is Andrew McFadden's responsibility.

From the clubs web site.
Hugely exciting times for the club as we set about building up a pathways structure which is going to serve us so well in years to come.

Can't really have one without the other no? I'd also say that the head coach will dictate the culture of the club. We can bring a lot of talent through but if none of them want to srtick around then its a bit fucked. I.E. Papali'i and Katoa to name a few. And from my understanding players love to play under webster at the moment. Now if we lose Laban, Demitric, Leka or Ali then i'll change my tune.
