Anymore you can add to that?

Do you have a source that has told you this?
Also reported in the Herald yesterday - McKewan's Sports Insider pages - that Warriors players were seen on various betting tables after 9PM and some Warriors players had gone to see Kevin Hart perform and got back to the hotel after 12AM on the Saturday/maybe Sunday, not sure of exact timing.
Unprofessional if nothing else...
Hey, AW and the management should be credited for getting by on something less strong than a Class A Drug if it's true.

I'd give Webby until at least the first few rounds next year. Would love Ivan to return at that time as the director of coaching. Or at least, Assistant coach. And keep Webby as the head coach. Perfect mentor for Webby. Ivan has talked about giving it away soon. Maybe get on hands and knees and ask beg him for a few years of service for his old club? Lol.

Would you still be saying that if we get the spoon this year? With the way the team played that first round it felt like a majority of last season - lackluster. The young guys on the bench to add some impact don't get to play until the game is over. WE'RE STARTING JACKSON FORD AT PROP - I think Jackson Ford did well in his first year but he's just mediocre, I don't get Websters hard on for him.. He's slow, not powerful, makes a fair few errors and just doesn't really add anything on attack or defense. He doesn't put on shots, runs some average af lines, no footwork, no speed.... How is he even in the 17? Niukore and Capewell... What did they do all pre-season? Too much Veteran days off? A quarter of the missed tackles from the team were from our starting 2nd rowers, neither of which played 80 mins.....

Pretty abysmal really, I can't see the team winning many games this year if this is the best on offer. Hopefully Capewell/Niukore don't get extended. Bring back Bunty, he looked like he was tearing it up in the trial games. Also can we PLEASE give the youth some more game time, at this rate Demetric and Leka are gonna have 50 games between them by the time they're 25....(They haven't really played bugger all first grade since they only get subbed on for like 20 mins a game)

Umm yeah, Or i wouldn't of said it lol. Its round one ffs.
If we keep going through coaches at the rate we do & getting the same results. Is it the coaches or the players at fault ?
And how much influence does Mohawk & George have on the running of this team ? What goes on behind closed doors ? We don't know.

We love chucking out new things to the curb while the whare is filled with old rubbish.

Can someone do that to Stacey? 😂😂
How dare you say that 'bout a WAHS MORTAL!

Seriously, love the man for what he's done for the Warriors and for league in general, but everyone does have their ceilings and limitations.
Stacey's admitted he doesn't want to be an NRL Coach. Which, frankly, I think is to be applauded as it's someone going "Please don't promote me. I'd suck at that level and you'd have to sack me and I don't want that. I don't care if you think I'm selling myself short." As opposed to just blindly taking promotion after promotion. But is he trying to make everyone not think that maybe he'd be on nobody's "They'd Be An NRL Coach Option" anyway because he's not good enough as an Assistant?

Kind of like me saying I don't want to be selected for the Kiwis. Because no one would want me in the Warriors NRL Team. Because no one would want me in the Warriors NSW Cup Team. Etc etc.

We are in the middle of the transition from being a Covid clusterfuck to being a strong development club

The middle of a transition is always a bit rocky
If anyone needs evidence that the transition is underway, you only have to look at our Cup and Flegg line ups for this weekend. How many other clubs have line ups with majority of the 17 having had (respectively) NRL and Cup experience. I'm less familiar with Flegg teams, but looking at the Cup team lists for Round 1, we look to have the most experienced side based on NRL experience (Panthers, aka a strong development club, looks to be the next closest)

Give him his statue outside mount smart but he can fuck off.

We seem to be the club stacked with so much experience both in first grade and reserves so why do we suck so much???

There are so many questions about this club of ours - about the coach & why he was appointed, about the efficiency of the management, the overall standards of what is expected & if they are being met plus a heap more. I don't have the answers because like most of us I'm not part of the inner circle so I'm taking Wellies advice & will sit back , enjoy the comp over the season - especially watching the Tigers going forward & leave the Warriors to sort themselves out - they have until Bluey's round 2026 - preferably sooner

Thanks Guys- love the pod - on the middle rotation theory (that it was upset by something which required a change post the 24hr team naming), I still can't see how that has the consequences it did - correct me if I am wrong but the inference is that it's preparation and/or disciplinary related with respect to Demetric - i.e. Webby has to enforce a change in his minutes as a middle (effectively excluding him from the middle rotation altogether) because of something he did or happened to him. Yet, he still gets on the pitch as an edge with extremely late and limited minutes ? I can't square that.

It’s only a theory, but he only came on for 10-15 mins to give Capewell a rest when the game was well and truly over - seems an odd use of a bench forward
