I thought this was really cool from Ivan. Saying he loves Auckland, his second home. Told us we can be extremely proud of our year, losing Metcalf & Barnett was the turning point & we’ve been incredibly brave & deserved to be there.

He identified the threat that leka is & the freak he will become. He made mention of our nsw cup side dominating & that Leka is one of a few young warriors coming through. He said there’s a lot of promise & we will be a force to be reckoned with the next few years. This is coming from a 4peat coach, we’re on the up guys and girls.

I just thought this was a really nice touch from Ivan, he’s always been full of praise & I feel there’s a mutual respect between the two clubs & they’re probably the closest we have to a brother club, with the amount of connections we have.

This is what I dont get. Yes the forward pass is a killer but why is CNK way back.

So Martin's role tonight what was it? Because to me seemed to try and play like Clark.

It WAS weird … further weirdness was carrying Healy only for an Egan injury, I thought 20-25 minutes for Healy or possibly to rest Clark would be the plan.

But to be fair webbys rotation nearly worked with Fish and Clarke back on fresh for last 20 and we’re only 4 behind. Next Year!

Just wanted us to respect the ball and give ourselves a chance, and we did that in spades tonight. Extremely proud of the effort.

Disappointing end to the season. It probably wouldn’t have made that much difference and we’d have gone out anyhow but we had a great chance to make the 4 and at least have another shot at getting through

Our home record cost us top 4 and needs to be addressed.

Honestly, the real difference in this game was Nathan Cleary. Give us a world class 7 and I believe we take Penrith.

I'm even more perplexed at wtf CNK was doing for 'that kick'

Cleary kicks on his 20m, CNK is on our 20m. It makes no sense whatsoever.

It was a great effort, in a great season, summed up by some unforced errors on our side which we never shook off the whole season.

To only lose by four, 12 8 to Penrith is a fantastic effort by our Wahs
