Overall proud of boys they certainly left it out there gave it 100% ... sadly we don't have the cattle ... to complete, even with a pretty average Panthers game tonight they will have to clean up some pretty average footy, but still good enough to put us away really just key Panthers players got class to put away WAHs that attack is very average as we have seen all season..

If we hope to go further next season, we need key changes...

Attack coach + DWZ + CNK + Nuikore all need to be punted to somewhere else

FORD needs limited mins as he starts doing dumb shit as he gets tired

Metcalf + Rocco + Barney to be 100% fit the whole season

1x key big name signing with speed and vision to take over FB ... CNK is past it has been for couple of seasons HOW THE FUCK CAN't
PEOPLE SEE THIS ?

1-2x Wings with speed ..

I'd say RTS will move on

JFH isn't a CAPT ... but Barney will is so please 100% fit all 2026 season

Energy, effort and attitude was there tonight. That’s all I wanted from our team.

I wasn’t confident we’d win. But even after the loss, I’m still sad. I love this team man. I want to see us win it all.

I can’t wait for that day. But it won’t be in 2025.

But we over achieved this year. We were in the top 4 for the majority of it. Injuries ruined what was becoming a special run. Our depth was tested. We’re not ready to compete at the top just yet. And that’s all good.

But as long as this club keeps moving towards the end goal - to build a consistent sustainable club that develops talent through our family-first culture that ultimately cultivates winners on and off the pitch - we will see that success sooner than later.

Played like shit the last month or so, still good enough for a home final and we could’ve still beat the reigning premiers if things went our way today.

If anything, through the anger and sadness - im proud.

UP THE FUCKIN’ WAHS ❤️💚💙

Anyone complaining about effort after that one can get fooked!

Thought we played great. 2 of their tries were very fortunate - that bounce of the ball was nuts for the first try and then running 60m after a dropped ball from us...I don't think that's happened to us all year. Very unfortunate really.

I thought it was largely even, and if it weren't for a few fortunate bounces of the ball our way, i think it would have been pretty close in those last 15 minutes.

Still, I thought Penrith played really well after that initial 20 min period and really got in the grind and it was actually a great game. Probably sums up our year though, a couple of fortunate bounces in the wrong direction when we need all the luck we can.

There's enough there for a premiership imo. A couple of small tweaks, a key signing and a bit of luck injury wise and I think 2026-2029 were looking really, really decent

Tonight isn't the night to bash the boys. There will come a time to discuss more honestly where we still lack as a team. But let's have at least one night to reflect on what has been a great year.

They did us so proud tonight and for the whole year. With the loss of so many key players before a ball was kicked and all the injuries that we had to endure during the year. After what happened in Vegas. Webby did amazing with this group. That's 4 finals games now under Webby. You have to go back to 2007-2008 under Ivan when we had that many finals games.

Let's cherish what has been a brilliant finals outing because they don't come around that often. Poor old Wests fans know about that- they haven't seen finals since we knocked them out in 2011.

I guess it's time to shift to yawnion now. :(

Honestly thought Isaiah Papalii was the difference. I typically don't out players but CNK was average, Marata was ineffective, and Dallin's a liability.
Some changes could be made, but I think with Barnett and Metcalf we win that game.
Capewell proved his worth in this one, was huge in defence.
Poor Leka, hopefully he uses this game as fuel to go to that next step.
Yeah from Ivan Cleary as our GF coach, to Papalii, Katoa & Walsh we make some dumb decisions

That bullshit try was the perfect snapshot of our 2025 rollercoaster. Truth is, half this squad needs to be punted and the young guns brought through. The future’s stacked and if we’re patient, that GF duck’s getting cooked in the next 5–10 years.

Names to remember:
Bishop Neal
Kayliss Fatialofa
Sio Kali
Brandon Norris
Jeremiah Lemana
Tyson Hansen
Jett Cleary
Jye Linnane
Hinckley Ioka

Lock ’em in—we’ll be sweet.

Dont forget Haizyn. Real weapon in the air and can be our Coates / Marky Mark esque type of player.

65 minutes in

Score is 12-8 to the panthers

We have the momentum, amazing defensive set, panthers only gain 20m

Cleary kicks from inside his own 20

CNK is standing out of frame.

Ball bounces favourably, forward pass, game over.
Your not wrong.

But ffs whenever do u see a ball bounce like that?

It couldnt sit up more perfectly for the Penrith chasers if it tried.

Only one possible conclusion.....Nathan Cleary's a witch!
