Not sure the way the playoffs are structured we would get to play the raiders in the final unless they lose this weekend

Here is the a schematic

Yep, that's how I worked it.
Warriors have to win Week 1. Raiders have to lose Week 1.
Looking at the schematic, I think you can't have 1 or 4 v 5 or 8 GFs or 2 or 3 v 6 or 7 GFs ie there's 8 GF Combos that can't happen as at kickoff on Friday.
That was the main and I suspect only advantage of the McIntyre Finals. The only GF Combos that couldn't happen as at kickoff on Friday were 1 v 7 and 2 v 8. But how likely were those Combos going to be??

Warriors by 1-12. Leka to be A Wrecker and get a try. Same as CNK and DWZ.

Question for The Forum: When you know you can't be at/watch a game live, do you maintain radio silence as much as humanly possible ie try and avoid public discussion wherever you're at, TVs at bars etc or do you not mind the surprise being inadvertantly spoiled?

Well here we are after all the highs and lows and now time to give it all.Wish I was at the game but got enough supplies in to survive a holocaust.Time to turn a panther into a pussycat.Show the mongrel boys go the Wahs

1st hitup is going to be a stonker.

2nd hitup will be seven minutes after the initial handbags are thrown. The HIA is imposed. Three blokes are binned and the rain is so Forrest Gump sideways that we don't see any of it through that and the clouds of stink fireworks smoke.

*I'll be posting these kind of messages until kick off.

If it's a big game, maintain radio silence for sure.

But that is not really possible if you are out and about in public. I would go off the grid until I could watch the game as long as it was within 24 hours.

Pompey will score two tries in the first quarter.

Tanah will shank the first conversion and nail the second.

We will take penalty shots at goal every time.

Dallin WILL go the length off an intercept just after Demetric enters the game.

There is literally a poll at the top of the page to choose the result. I don't see anyone death riding the team. I see people posting what they think and like it or not, while there is always a chance we can win, the odds are against us and there are very good reasons for that.. And like it or not, it is a fan site and those fans have differing opinions. And I would also disagree with your rugby league analysis web site comment. There are a number of very good, knowledgeable, analytical posters on this site that contribute great analysis and insight. If you want 100% 'ra ra we are awesome' then this site is probably going to disappoint you. I'll leave it there. Enjoy the game. I hope we can pull a rabbit out of the hat and win.
All goods happy with all that. Good I think we all cleared the air. Go the Warriors!!!
No need to apologise mate. We all have our own opinions. Like everyone on this site, I just want us to win but going on current results, form etc it's hard to see how. As I said I'll humbly eat my words somehow if we can win tonight.
You are a good sort. Thanks for your reply.

Pretty rich coming from posts of the ilk of

If player 'x' doesn't do 'x' this week they should leave the club/have their contract torn up.

Practice what you preach, mate.

Fair enough. I do enjoy a bit of pitchforks and burning effigies after a big loss.

Change of topic - Hawaiian shirt now proudly on around the house. We are ordering Indian food in for the event. We had the choice of Pizza or thai are the other two things we can get delivered around here.

Hope we get the A commentary team this week with Laura etc.

We expecting cnk to be moved to centre for taine to be at fb in a late shuffle. I suspect webster is going to play that.

Wish healey was on the bench but can understand webster playing safe as tmm covers more roles. Id rather quality over quantity myself.
It's a mysterious variable to get everyone clicking and firing in one harmonious length of time. But if we can do that. We can topple Penrith
