Was blessed enough to receive a gift from the GC at Dynasty. Blown away by the generosity from Tyler and the team.

Full disclosure. The team at Dynasty reached out to me to view my collection for ideas last November so it was known even that early that Puma were getting turfed out (from what I have been told the club were just over Puma and their supply issues as well as the poor quality of the gear. Preseason gear showing late, gear not showing up at all ie 2022 heritage shorts, training gear constantly ripping and not having the ability to replace gear quickly, using in house blanks and slapping club logos oin them... the list goes on).

Apologies for keeping the news confidential but I wanted to respect the trust they had in me. Surprised it stayed mum up until the club released that info themselves. I havent been privy to designs so Im as informed as anyone else here in that regard.

One thing I will add is the design team were genuinely excited to be the official supplier and getting the chance to work on the teams merchandise. As far as league merch goes the Warriors are the pinnacle. Makes it even better its a home grown company that is still locally owned and run. Using sustainable material is also another great touch.

According to someone at Dynasty the heritage jersey is going to be insane. No idea on release date but its a big call so heres hoping it delivers.

The basketball shorts are two weeks away with their next shipment not arriving until November 10th. I live in shorts year round so I'm desperate to secure a couple pairs at least. There was actually CCC shorts for the similar looking singlet they made but it never made it past the prototype stage. Chris, who use to work at CCC and is now at Dynasty has a pair of the prototypes and the basketball set has his design influence all over it.

Loving the range so far and that seems to be the general consensus across all social media platforms. Early sales indicate as much. The red collar on the home jersey is a nice nod to the original. Even the curves and proportions of the chevrons are on point with the 1995 jersey.

Never been a fan of merch using colours outside the traditional club palette so the training jerseys arent really me but no doubt there will be those that are thrilled with the teal and peach offerings.

Those basketball shorts though 🥵🔥🔥🔥. Going to be gutted if I miss out on a pair...

You really have become our conduit between club, fans and apparel provider - as it should be.

I’m impressed Dynasty had the smarts and good culture to send you a pack in good will, awesome.

You should be proud Welly, your long term support and devotion (not to mention thousands of dollars) to our club and its off field representation is impressive and clearly valued - by many.

Congrats bro.

a love emoji isn't really enough - well done, you've earned it.. and respect for keeping schtum

Oh I should add that they were really impressed with the Paua 9s and subzero jersey so wont be surprised to see something along those lines as the heritage but thats just speculation...

I did hear one of the designers is a season member in Bay 29 - so I think that sort of the connection with club culture will bode really well for the future of the arrangement.

Dude no need to apologise for keeping it confidential. If they can't trust you with the information they won't reach out again. You kept their trust so they won't be worried about using you again.

The amount you have spent on merchandise any perks like inside information or gift packs is well deserved. I have a selection of jersey's, training gear, polo's and hoodies etc. It impresses my kids but pales in comparison to yours which in some instances catches the club history.

I know you probably wanted to speak out. Good thing you've been busy. Best to sit back, read and laugh and the speculation thinking "If you only knew".

I hope the heritage jersey is a take on an old jersey from our past or something related to NZ league history.

I know some of the maori designs have been popular but use those for the indigenous jersey which fits the scope for that jersey. This way you can sell two extra jerseys instead of one.

Maori designs or ferns in part of the V like that jersey we had in the mid 2010s would work for the heritage. But the full jersey use the indigenous jersey. And no I'm not saying I'm against the maori designs. I'm still kicking myself I didn't buy one of those green stone ones. My point is more moving it to the jersey that fits the purpose.

The heritage jerseys across the competition have moved from jerseys from 40+ years ago to jerseys from the past. Some are nice but it was cool seeing the real simple designs when they fist started doing them.

I liked the sub zero jersey and thought that would make a good alternate jersey.

If you want to know what size you are, if you can do what I did and go down to the local sports shop and try on any other teams jersey thats made by Dynasty. I tried on the manly jersey and I felt yuck afterwards 🤮🤮 haha
At least try on Samoan jersey. Why would you put on a Manly jersey. You better go down to mount smart and confess your sins. Maybe recite the team song 10 times and 5 laps around the field to start the repent ...

I did exactly the same haha for the training gear I have some stags cricket gear which hopefully is consistent with sizing.
After initial ‘meh’ the away has grown on me and I might pick that up once it hits stores

Go look in the mirror and say there needs to be an investigation 500 times to repent your sins.

Jokes aside in makes sense though as you can check out your size than buy on line. Best not to leave the changing room though. Stay out of site.

I’m not a Jafa but it would be cool if the heritage jersey was a throwback to one of the old Auckland rep jerseys- always thought they looked good.
Couldn’t find a photo of the 89 team who beat Australia but found this one from the 77 side who also beat them.

What about some of the names in there.
