General 2024 NZ Warriors Merchandise

That list in the Herald ranking the heritige jerseys. The few I own didn't do too well. Most in the 20-15 range. The best was the CCC take on the 2002 jersey at 7.

The Heritage jersey selling out so quickly is good to see. Dynasty will be happy they have a club that is a big seller.

Are they going to re-stock them?
It seems like everything is selling out. The selling point from the club was that Dynasty could get stock through their supply chain quickly to turn things around so stock gets into stores.

Personally Im blown away by the new retro jersey. Guess I get a hard on for most Warriors jerseys but this one definitely hits the spot.

When the Dynasty design team from Australia and NZ came over to view my collection in February last year the one jersey I pitched them was the 1995 away.

While its been often copied with inspired takes its never quite been done with any real justice whatsoever. To see a faithful reproduction warms the heart. One thing I never took into account was the importance of the OG sponsor to the overall aesthetic of the jersey. That Dynasty had the balls to even entertain removing the main sponsor logo blows my mind. Recreating the DB Bitter script is what truly nails this design. Add to that the collar, rubber button and identical chevrons and you have a jersey that easily tops the greatest Warriors heritage jersey of all time and may even be the best jersey we will see across the competition this season.

I'll likely get at least a couple extra to wear over the years and retire the OG jersey to special occasions. While the OG still has a lot of wear left in it its 30 odd year age and $500+ value means its best to look after them. Will probably also have to change from drinking bourbon to vodka too cause white jerseys dont stay white very long with me.

Pretty stoked to get a parcel from Dynasty with a personal message from CNK as well. Not an influencer by any means but humbled regardless...

So cool Dynasty acknowledge the OG collectors (archivists really) who saw the collectibility of jerseys before anyone else... even when the brand was at it's lowest.

This is great, all of it. Dynasty has jumped to my favourite supplier out of all of them - in Yr1.

The fact they care enough to venture over and explore, garner your thoughts and then leverage them in their decision making tells me two things:

1) They’re humble and driven by what the supporters actually want, and
2) You’re very much an influencer my friend.

That is all.

Another great thing about the heritage jersey is that they used actual sewn on badges. I really despise the new heat press type badges - just looks tacky.

Sheesh, I’m glad I held off on the CHCH warm up top! This ones looking just as fire! Bank accounts taken a beating over the past week..View attachment 5160
On the online store the back of the jersey has SJs name and number, I wonder if this is actually on the jersey (I assume not?).

Completely agree - it's one of the reasons I got the preseason jersey too. The sewn on badges are one hundred times better than the heat press ones - hopefully in 10 years they don't become the new version of the Puma neck labels and starting rubbing off onto other jerseys!

Other than that, very impressed by what Dynasty has delivered (thus far) in 2024.

The Kiwis have gone with Dynasty now also

How bloody good, not sure if it is just me but Kiwis gear has always been shocking to get a hand on, always a preorder or out of stock

That makes it ARL, Kiwis, Warriors, Tonga and Samoa- Basically a monopoly, or to recycle an old joke, a Dynasty..? on NZ League gear

Oh yeah, forgot to mention. The NRL have changed the rules around heritage jerseys so they are now included in the 3 year turnaround of jerseys instead of changing every season so we will see this heritage jersey being worn for the next 3 years along with the home and away. They'll try to work around those restrictions by issuing anniversary or commemorative jerseys in the years in between...

Good to hear your take on the Heritage jersey and involvement. They nailed it.

I like the idea of heritage jerseys having a longer turn around (especially when we have such a nice one). Similar to North American sports where they will have a third/alternate jersey that they will keep in rotation as long as they please.

I'm really glad Warriors seem to be more about 'quality not quantity' with their jerseys in recent times.

I haven't seen anyone post this one yet, but thought there might have been some people into this sort of throwback?

This is for the craft beer drinkers among the fanbase surely.
