Politics 🤡 Donald Trump

Actually I think the left and right have the same modus operandi which is too take something that is happening, in this case fraud, report that it is much more widespread than it is to discredit the other side and be able to jusify extreme action.
It’s 100x worse than being reported and it’s the same globally.

NDIS in Australia is exactly the same

The New York Times, in an early morning opinion piece from the editorial board, made a key point about regime change:

“If there is an overriding lesson of American foreign affairs in the past century, however, it is that attempting to oust even the most deplorable regime can make matters worse. The United States spent 20 years failing to create a stable government in Afghanistan and it replaced a dictatorship in Libya with a fractured state. The tragic consequences of the 2003 war in Iraq continue to beset America and the Middle East. Perhaps most relevant, the United States has sporadically destabilized Latin American countries, including Chile, Cuba, Guatemala and Nicaragua, by trying to oust a government through force.

Mr. Trump has not yet offered a coherent explanation for his actions in Venezuela. He is pushing our country toward an international crisis without valid reasons. If Mr. Trump wants to argue otherwise, the Constitution spells out what he must do: Go to Congress. Without congressional approval, his actions violate United States law.”

Europe doesn't want the Ukraine war to end, that would cripple their already failing economies..

How long until Israel attacks Iran again now that the USA has effectively and by their actions set the standard that doing whatever you wish is not wrong if no one stops you..
You're repeating Putin's propaganda again. The US, Putin and Russia are the aggressors here.

Was a point I tried to make yesterday, and wonder if India could become a player in this model? Although it likes to pride itself on being democratic, India has been anything but under Modi. Very much oppressing Muslim’s in that country, a skirmish with Pakistan is a door right into the middle east

No you're just misinformed, just like the Cuban missile crises it was the USA who put ballistic missiles in Turkye and European countries around the USSR prior that instigated the issue. That would make the USA the aggressors..

Completely disagree. It’s because the lack of journalism.

The lack of genuine media gave us, Trump, Kamala, Biden, wars in Iraq, Afghan and Ukraine.
That's also true, I think before there were still some organizations or reporters at least that you could trust would do their homework and were reporting facts, there is so much noise now that you can't make it with facts, you need sensationalism and it's much more difficult to find someone let alone an organisation that investigates and reports facts with data.

There can very easily be multiple aggressors. There's clear lines of disinformation that emanate frequently from the right that the content of some of your posts in this forum align with.

You're correct in so much as we disagree.

If I'm wrong about any of this, and parts I no doubt will be, I'll be happy to admit that.

However, if we're talking serious discussions, go deep on your sources. Understand where they come from, who's maybe financing what they do, and align with the historic patterns not just around the world in the last 60 years, but further.

There are very clear patterns, and a realignment has been taking place for a while now.

The right is by far in the ascendency around the world, and bringing with it the hegemony, fascism, greed and insanity that is obvious to any remotely intelligent student of history.

The US won't stop at Venezuela.

The US democracy is gone, and I absolutely don't think there will be any kind of democratic election this time, as I've said a number of times.

But don't whitewash Putin.

And yet she was always available to and fronted. Very different to Luxon who’s been mentioned by Jack Tame for declining multiple interviews and never fronts. Never felt there was a bias against anyone and politicians and parties create their negative headlines. Nationals shitshow years going from bridges to muller to Collins was about how shit they were and the headlines recognised that. Media dined out on Kiri Allen’s fuck up and Gormann’s weird thievery just the same
