I didn't in the end, honestly, I don't know that I would have been able to handle it. I really admire the honesty and effort that Germany has put in to own their history, and to try and make sure it doesn't happen again.

I did get distracted by the local beer a bit too :)

Yes the beer is good there! I visited Dachau on a really cold gloomy November day, many years ago now. The conditions felt quite appropriate.
