Politics πŸ€‘ Donald Trump

As someone that's doing well for themselves and would technically be a business owner but don't consider myself one (contractor that has had a couple employees in the past). I've known so many business owners that are addicted to making more money while being stingy as fuk watching every cent they spend. They treat money like god. Also have no problem taking advantage of employees. What good does that do for the economy if people are hording more wealth than they will ever spend in a life time other then to buy more property to increase their portfolio.
I've heard out of the mouth of a family friend. They're addicted to business. It makes sense to me, what else would drive people to chase money wildly when they have more than enough for multiple generations.

We're getting very off topic this may need its own thread.
We’re going off topic so I will keep it brief:

1 - the focus around business should be growing strong businesses that as Rizzah says, increased the economies capacity. Then we all benefit. Think customers and the ability of the economy to provide for us, rather than who owns them and how much they make. We need the competition, new ideas, new technologies and experience for labour. We want the good ones to grow and thrive instead of the owners giving up and settling for the 3 B’s

2 - about successful business owners that have enough intergenerational money. Serious question. If you were in that situation but still young, would you retire? Would you regret it when you’re bored and irrelevant 5 years later? The reality is we need routine and work, a purpose in like and relevancy. Some would like the power. Some like the challenge. I don’t think many, except the hopelessly addicted work for money once they have enough.

China relaxing travel rules for British travellers. With Canada’s proposed deals with China, America is pushing its traditional allies away and towards their biggest competitor

The Cook Islands saw the light first in our part of the world.

New Zealand should go all in with China. America looks f*cked and only gonna get more f*ckeried.

One thing I don’t like about China is their treatment of animals, though that’s coming for someone who’s never visited and unable to provide an informed opinion. They’re far from the only ones too

I'm not sure either , but are you talking about like environment stuff or like Tiger King, Seaworld and the Killer Whales sort of thing?

The football world cup may be badly affected by US Border policies. No Haiti or Senegal supporters will get Visas. Big calls in Europe to boycott the event. Organisers have had 17,000 cancellations.

Probably not an allegation I should make without knowing more but the animals in the wet markets and some delicacies aren’t pleasant. Very few laws directed at anti cruelty and real concerns in the dog and cat meat markets and livestock

Alleged human rights violations are another big red flag, but the way it's headed in the states they could have more gulags than China soon.
