Politics 🤡 Donald Trump

The reason Black lives matter exists is because White Authorities in the US have a long and ugly history of killing people because of their race.

Inruin can suck on his ICE hero's fat white Neo Nazi online forum membership if he is gonna try to shame me for believing this woman died because she was a minority by virtue of her sexuality.

It is more than reasonable to draw a link between the proclivities of the criminal mysogynist (probably called a woman a Fucking bitch after shooting her in the face) and the fact that he had no respect for her life because of her openly gay lifestyle.

I will say it again and not apologize to anyone. She was killed because she is a Lesbian. It just doesn't happen to hetero sexual white women end of.

There are people on here that deny White cops kill people of colour because of their colour despite the evidence to the contrary being a un arguable fact of life. I will not back down on the statement that it is my opinion that she died because of what she represented as a human being and what her murderer represents as a human being.

Really ugly view of the world.

Provide one shred of evidence he knew she was a lesbian prior to the shooting. They had never met before that 40 second interaction.

He assessed her sexuality in 40 seconds and was so certain he decided she needed to die for that reason????

Pretty pessimistic view of society - I believe she was murdered but this just sounds ludicrous.

Honestly, this is what I think happened.

Good and partner were there to disrupt, antagonize and get in the way of ICE operations. She parked her car sideways across the road while her wife got out and filmed. She was there for quite a few minutes before ICE agents approached her. Waving on the odd car of the public and making a nuisance of herself for the ICE vehicles. Good and her wife were looking for footage and clicks. The agent who ended up shooting her got out of his vehicle, walked around it recording the details of the vehicle, Good appears calm and smiling, while the wife tried to antagonize him. The other agents approached ordering Good to get out of the car. She refused. At some point between her wife getting out of the car and the agents approaching she locked the doors. Agents started trying to open the door and detain her. Wife tries to open passenger door but can't as it's locked. Good reversed the car, wheels spinning on the ice and she had the wheels turned to the left, bringing the front of the car around and placing the agent directly in the middle of the bonnet. You can see that from the surveillance cam footage from across the road. He was still recording on his phone and I believe had been focused on that. Hearing the engine rev and the car moving he focuses on where he is positioned and starts moving to his right to get clear of the car. Icy road making that a slower prospect than normal. Then the wife yells drive baby, drive. Good does so, engine revving as wheels are spinning on the ice, she is looking forward with the agent directly in front of her, there is no way she can't see him, the agent draws his weapon thinking he is being driven at, Good starts turning the wheel to head down the road and I would hope as to try and avoid the agent, he shoots as the car strikes him, he fires again as he stumbles to the side and the car passes. There are a couple of videos including the officers phone footage that shows the car striking him and several videos that show the shots fired. All of this occurs in a very short space of time.

Tragic set of circumstances has unfolded, all avoidable.

Do I think Good deserved to die? No.

Do I think this is peaceful protest? No

Do I think she was intentionally trying to hit the agent with her car? No.

Do I think she (and her wife) contributed to her death. Absolutely. Interfering with law enforcement doing their job, blocking the roadway, failing to follow law enforcement orders, fleeing, her car hit the agent. All of that escalated the situation to it's conclusion and had she made different decisions along the way she would be alive right now.

In any other situation if somebody had told you that in America today a person was approached by law enforcement because they were parked across a road, they refused to follow the directions of that law enforcement which was to exit the vehicle, they tried to flee in that vehicle hitting a law enforcement person with their car and was shot and killed, you would be going yup, idiot should have followed instructions and got out of the car.

People can make plenty of arguments that the officer shouldn't have drawn his gun. I get that. In the space of time this occurs in, Good has made poor choices and given him very little decision making time and the consequences of that is she is dead.

Its also interesting that their are many cities and states where ICE have been able to do their job with the support of local agencies without any problems. Yet in others there is, IMO, way over the top reaction and obstruction of that.

That's my take based on all the videos that I've seen out there. No winners in this.
Seems a reasonable take, except why do you think it's not peaceful protest?

Well, I think what people deem as peaceful protest has morphed, particularly recently and become more extreme, for want of a better word, in order to get more clicks or perhaps to make your cause seem more important than another. Right to protest doesn't trump other people's rights. For me, following around law enforcement, blocking a road with your car, ignoring agents orders, fleeing, hitting an agent with the car, that takes it well beyond a peaceful protest.
