I think ukraine was put into an uncomfortable situation by its own leaders aligning more with the West. Wether that's because of foreign actors I dunno. The euromaiden stinks.

Yeah there's all sorts of murk of course. I'm highlighting the aggressor and of course the conspiracies that accumulate with the same groups of people more than anything. Putin is the aggressor here 100%, and given the farce of a "peace" treaty that's got his wishes all over it, if he gets his way he won't stop at Ukraine.

A united Europe benefits the world I think with the way America looks to be turning out.

Russia seems pretty emboldened these days, and why not when you’ve got the American president in your back pocket. Europe are going to have to band together and support Ukraine or Putin is going to march through Europe

Dont follow this much but Russia would have 0 chance against NATO?

If Russia can’t beat up Ukraine who are not given the best weapons, they would get annihilated if they took on Germany, France, Uk, Italy, etc, Russia has struggled to gain air superiority in Ukraine. Europe would destroy Russia in the air and then it’s war over.

If Russia can’t defeat Ukraine over 3 years it will get pulverised taking on Europe.

Putin knows this. Explain how it could ever end well for Russia?

Devils advocate, maybe those in charge WANT Putin to try for Europe because it would give them a reason to actually invade and ‘liberate’ Russia

Without America providing the means largely that Ukraine have fought with so far, without America continuing to provide a considerable amount it becomes entirely reliant on Europe to fill the void. Russia seems to be strategically with a foot in each camp with ties to China attending their military parade and also seemingly having something going with America. They are in a powerful position
