To be fair you can’t really call out Trump pardoning people without also calling out Bidens shady pardons. Par for the course it seems
Before taking over the presidency Biden was pushing how Trump would pardon his family and that it was disgraceful. Biden snuck that in this week.

Also said he'd respect the judicial system in regards to his son. That didn't go that way. He and his staff have struggled to answer that one given the repeated denials. The closest he has said is that his son was unfairly targeted by the previous regime. I can't recall when it started but I have seen some discussions some of the investigations into his son came from his own appointments.

The Pardons are supposed to be for crimes committed or righting a wrong when there is circumstances to the offence. Biden's pardons have been for any offence they may have committed within this long range of years. I've seen some discussion on how these would hold up to scrutiny.

Biden himself used the judicial process to go after Trump. To me that wasn't ethical considering Trump was likely going to be the candidate he'd be up against at the next election.

Like I have stated I don't think much of either of them. Trump is divisive and Biden was going senile. After Trump was shot Biden said they need to calm down in their rhetoric between both sides. It wasn't long after that he was getting angry that he wanted to fight.

Certainly neither can claim the higher morals in that regard and trumps initial lock her up mantra of his first election win strikes me as no different to the other criticism you make of Biden going down a judicial route in what trump tried to create in people’s minds. Must be hard in saying that watching a guy pardon criminals and not decide to do the same for your family, but that’s how you claim the moral victory and his son probably deserves repercussions by the sounds. I will say one thing though, in defeat it was good to see peaceful transition and none of the drama that surrounded trumps loss which he still doesn’t concede and l see Putin giving it reference in the last day or two of trumps stolen election. None of the incitement to go into a frenzy that commenced on January 6, a concession call from Harris in defeat, Biden in attendance of trump’s inauguration, the couple leaving the white house greeting the incoming couple. All just normal

The blanket pardon for ‘any offence committed during x period’ was shady as hell and likely means there’s a lot more that hasn’t come out. Seems odd to essentially be given a free reign to commit whatever crimes you want then get your Dad to make it go away later.
