I see another threat of calm before the storm by trump today. How embarrassing to constantly offer these threats when the world just watched him go hand over fist to China, who are providing Iran with weapons all the while the world knows Iran is dictating. Even Australia has read the room enough to cancel proposed trump towers on the gold coast

Exactly…. I want the regime gone but this isn’t the way to do it. If the Iranian people were able to stand up then I can see a case for foreign countries defending them but not illegally attacking them.

That was what they were counting on was an uprising from within but either the Iranian people are happier than we’re lead to believe or they’re suppressed to tow the line, but with the amount of people I can’t see how they wouldn’t topple the government if they had the appetite?

If, and it’s a big if, rare earths can be extracted without damaging the environment, then do it….. they’re needed for things like renewables and would be done in NZ without child labour and, you’d hope, with proper safety standards and conditions. But sell them to everyone…. not just the orange skinned one.

- Free university fees that even labour is backtracking on now
- equity pay (when people make career choices)
- free doctors visit for everyone… with a massive doctor shortage unable to meet demand's
- paying for free school lunches out of covid funding
- personality politics
- Etc, etc

Less ‘nice to haves’ and more focus on ‘needs’

Polls over here are showing Hipkins preferred pm currently at 23% but interestingly Winston is on 17% to Luxon’s 20% preferred pm so you can guarantee that Winston has his eye on some time as pm at his age and last roll of the dice to ever get the role. Would be unprecedented and unlikely but at the same time Luxon isn’t comfortable at all facing scrutiny and putting himself out there to answer tough questions. Luxon could willingly sit on the sidelines and let Winston take the role for half a term like the current deputy model? Good luck with a power crazy Winston if that ever happened though

A cigarette is dry form though which is where the popcorn lung and the like is coming from because of the wet form

He’s been apart of the decades of mismanagement. It begs the question, where have all our taxes gone that haven’t being keeping on top of dilapidated infrastructure for decades? It’s about time us taxpayers paying their salaries demanded better, they’re voted in to achieve what’s being promised or proposed and trusted to spend in the areas that are needed
