The key is ganging up internationally against him to get results rather than grandstanding, achieve nothing and getting slammed by him.

Diplomatically and with a big international combined effort rather than meaning criticism of an unstable, egotistical fool.

This isn’t Longe where you can grandstand and embarrass him to do the right thing. You embarrass him and he reacts like a child. Size matters to him and he won’t respect us at all.

Na bullshit, we’ve got pathetic leadership currently. Mark Carney in a neighbouring country didn’t bend over and take right from the get go. I see another threat of calm before the storm by trump today. How embarrassing to constantly offer these threats when the world just watched him go hand over fist to China, who are providing Iran with weapons all the while the world knows Iran is dictating. Even Australia has read the room enough to cancel proposed trump towers on the gold coast

Exactly…. I want the regime gone but this isn’t the way to do it. If the Iranian people were able to stand up then I can see a case for foreign countries defending them but not illegally attacking them.

That was what they were counting on was an uprising from within but either the Iranian people are happier than we’re lead to believe or they’re suppressed to tow the line, but with the amount of people I can’t see how they wouldn’t topple the government if they had the appetite?

If, and it’s a big if, rare earths can be extracted without damaging the environment, then do it….. they’re needed for things like renewables and would be done in NZ without child labour and, you’d hope, with proper safety standards and conditions. But sell them to everyone…. not just the orange skinned one.

Off my head:

- Free university fees that even labour is backtracking on now
- equity pay (when people make career choices)
- free doctors visit for everyone… with a massive doctor shortage unable to meet demand's
- paying for free school lunches out of covid funding
- personality politics
- Etc, etc

Less ‘nice to haves’ and more focus on ‘needs’
