So people aren't using power in the night because they're at work all day right. Because they need to work all week to pay for the electricity and what not right.Thats called the duck curve and its actually problematic. No one uses any power during the day, or worse, they all feed back solar into a grid where there is zero demand, then come evening demand skyrockets.
Now since no one is paying for power during the day and power cos are losing money by forking out solar FiTs, all that money has to be couped in a much smaller consumption window, so again the price goes up.
Cheap power can only be obtained from large grid scale generators as the basic economics of supply and demand still applies. IE drastically increase supply to drastically reduce the price.
Man we are all just slaves aren't we.
