Latest nz herald Poll of Polls, which takes the average polling results, says the coalition has an 89.9% chance of winning the election, up from 88.3% in April.
The Poll of Polls has the coalition with 62 seats and the current opposition with 58 seats. This would also make Hipkins the first Labour leader since Bill Rowling (1978 & 1981) to loss two elections in a row.
Labour would still have the most seats receiving 31.9% (down 1.5% from the April poll). National nudged up 0.2 points to 30%, NZ First was down 1.9 to 11.7%, the Green Party was up 1.9 to 9.7%, Act was down 2.5 points to 6.5%, and Te PΔti MΔori was at 4.1%, up by 1.5.
This is all assuming Winnie keeps NZ First with National and doesn't go with Labour instead.
