You give women too little credit. Women choose to pay for services like childcare by exercising their own free will, voluntarily

Not because someone else has designed them for women
True but most parents have little choice as one income doesn't cover the bills. In that sense Wiz does have a captive market akin to the private prison system, he might as well be a slave trader.

The thing that's hilarious about you wiz. Owning daycares. One of the most bullshit industries ever invented. Designed to get women into the workforce. Neo liberalism at its finest. Privatised companies receiving kickbacks and incentives from the government.
No better than a private prison.
My wife’s a teacher and that’s been her business. People have choice eg public kindergartens, but given that choice, many still choose private childcare centres.

I’m a sparky by trade that’s got into other stuff (tourism, property development, recruitment, etc)

I'm sure a large majority would rather have the choice to raise their children without having to work because unfortunately most couples need a duel income just to survive.

In the 1990's, NZ banks only considered the primary income when accessing housing loans... then they decided to look at the total household income instead as was happening overseas. Smaller lending institutions followed suit. Soon, any form of borrowing was unaffordable for most without a second income.

In the early 2000's, we had a recession hit and there was a huge number of mortgagee sales as young families had lost the second income when the wife stopped working to have children. Paid maternity leave has helped reduce the number of young families losing their houses but it's still a struggle.

Personally, I'd like us to go back to the primary income assessments.... but house prices mean that will never happen.

Paid maternity leave is all part of the neoliberalism trap?

Devious policy making is all feel good while supporting the banking cartel!

Example of why we are billions in debt:

Labour bought a motel in Rotorua valued at $4.3 for $8.1m. Spent $3m renovating it. Total spend $11.1m

Find the hot water bore is knackered so demolish the whole complex and are selling it for land value.

You couldn’t make up this absolutely horrific waste of money 🀣

…but let’s keep our head in the sand that the $30b of wasted borrowing outside Covid wasn’t irresponsible Labour econic managemt and give them another turn. They have already forecast needing extra taxes to waste!

The article says Kainga Ora. Not Labour.

The right lambasts Jacinda when she won't go on Hoskings but crickets when Luxon won't go on TVNZ.

Personally I didn't care they don't go on. They aren't the medias puppets. However it's the right leaning media that are fucktards.

Mate, multiple media articles (both left and right) critical of him.

Honestly he’s hopeless at the media side of things. Chippy’s a pro and will make him look ordinary come election.
